you really need to stop wanking scrubs just because they have a couple Italians involved with the team
lmao
Tbf I didn't even think about that, I don't watch them nor do I know their players. Now that you say I remembered its Carrera so I'm even more sure
Seriously now, winning in Russia for european teams is hard as hell. I always rate the Russian champions not to be scrubs. I wasn't impressed with Sevilla last year and now they lost Sampaoli. It'll probably be hard fought.

Why do they treat English clubs so well except for Spurs?

You guys are severely overrating Dortmund. Especially since it looks like they've lost Dembele.
Chelsea got the toughest group imo.

English teams draws
To make it even funnier Manu (as usual) getting Europa League (where they belong)level groups.
Liverpool getting Sunday league group (they will still *bleep* up)

How is United's group easy? Basel and CSKA away are 2 tough away games. Doesnt Basel have like a perfect record against English teams at home(perfect as in not a loss)? And then you have Benfica who is a more than decent team as well. Its not a hard group yes. But it sure is not easy. Pool and City have easier groups than us.
BTW Last time we got Basel and Benfica this happened.

Na Dortmund know how to score. It just depends on how many goals you put past them before the end of the game. They are a very careless team, hence went out to Monaco with a tennis score. They'll do well against the big team who hold posession and leave themselves exposed at the back due to how they play but lesser teams like Spurs etc will match/beat them no problem. But at the same time it's hard to take Spurs seriously when they lose to freaking Genk

We smashed Basel 4-1 at their place last season. Lucas Perez got a hat-trick
Benfica are tough, but it's not the same Basel team. That Basel team back then had Salah, Stocker, and that big lad up front.

Yeah I'm sure the bomb attack on their team bus on the way to the stadium had nothing to do with it

Using the fact Benfica and Basel have eliminated United before doesn't mean the group isn't easy, it means that United was bad.

@Happless, They played better that game than they did during the return leg. The return leg ended up being one sided in the end
I don't know Dortmund reminds me alot of Pepe Mel's Vallecano. Most careless team you'll ever see but will always score

Lol My bad then. Guess my memory is stuck in like 4 or 5 years back. I thought Basel are still a pretty big deal. Didnt know they had regressed.

In fairness, I don't expect anyone to keep up with Basel. I only knew because we had them in our group last year.
Also, United's team that night:
De Gea; Smalling, Vidic, Ferdinand, Evra; Nani, Jones, Giggs, Young; Park, Rooney
Ferguson or not, not one of their best.

I think Roma has been weakened from last year. They could surprise me this weekend, but if Inter beats them at home it will confirm my speculation. As such, Roma will be lucky to drop into the EL.

Because no matter who you are and where you were born, Spurs is just not a likable team.

Re: UEFA Champions League 2017/2018 Group Stage Draw
I would say I'm surprised we got another tough group, but whatever.
We are weaker than last year, but that's tactically. If anything, our squad is now bigger than last year's. It was built to compete on multiple fronts unlike the last one. That said, I see us drawing Qarabag just because we're Roma and we do shit like that.
EL will be where we land, I'd say.

Re: UEFA Champions League 2017/2018 Group Stage Draw
A lot of people like Spurs. Doc is one of the only internationals I know who hates Spurs for seemingly no reason. They play the best football in the premier league, aren't owned by oil (Chelsea, City), aren't just massively rich and unlikeable (Man U). The only thing you could say is their a bit of a joke, but that puts them with Arsenal and Liverpool, both teams in addition to Spurs who are the most likeable teams.
Spurs being an actual quality team and playing the best football means as of the last couple years, they've got the edge. Not sure why Doc is spreading misinformation here. Not that Madrid fans should care about likeability

Anyway bold prediction, Spurs get out of the groups and they will take points off of Madrid.
