I think the Bundesliga is finally taking their international marketing seriously. Too late, though.

A shame considering so many German-Americans here. I think there' still time though.

Need an opinion from regular BVB watchers:

How good has Sokratis Papastathopoulos been this season? It seems he's going to be the first post-Wenger era signing and I've been reading nothing but concerning things about his form and uncanny resemblance to Mustafi's playing style.

Also, any info on the Freiburg defender Caglar Soyuncu would be appreciated, too.

You set the bar for a response way too high there Jay.

Noone here watches BVB regularly, and with the reference to Mustafi you've basically disqualified me from answering anyway

Reading the new coach of Eintrecht Frankfurt is an Austrian guy named "Adolf Hutter".

Top level banter Laughing (hopefully this photoshop isn't against the rules)

What a performance by Ante Rebic in the DFB Pokal final. Fantastic technique this guy has. One to look out for

Poor Bayern.

That was a stonewall penalty on Alonso, but apparently, Real Madrid agents have bought referees even in germany to spite Bayern, well done Perez, well done.

It's just weird. Stonewall penalty, you got the video and all and the ref still doesn't give it.

Disgusting corruption AGAIN. Ref should be sent to PRISON.

Yeah it looked like a clear penalty, theres still human error involved even with VAR but it doesnt get clearer than that tbh

A shame but I'm happy for Frankfurt, they've played well

If you do some research about this particular ref, this is actually not such an exagerration.
That he is still allowed to work as a referee is nothing short of a scandal, and that he is awarded with the cup final, after his match fixing and also of course his recent catastrophic performance in the quarters Bayern vs Leipzig, is one of the more blatant examples of what is decribed here:

Very happy for Eintracht Frankfurt. I don't really follow them much but they were the first professional club I went to see play, decades ago, and I'm always pleased when I hear some good news associated with them.

If you're into Tequila right now, get yourself a good Reposado (El Jimador is affordable, and sold widely in Germany), mix 2 parts of that shit with 3 parts ginger beer (I prefer Thomas Henry Spicy Ginger), add a squeezer of lime juice, two or three drops of Angostura bitter, if you're feeling cheeky, a slice of lemon, and get hammered on a Maya Mule.

It's half time,  I'm allowed to talk cocktails now.

Holy shit, just tried this

4 cl Tequila 6 cl Spicy Ginger, 1 cl squeezed lime, 2 drops Angostura (9€ for 0.1 l ffs), I also put in a little twig of mint from my balcony

This is absolutely fantastic @Viva

Now I want to try it but I'm not that big a fan of Tequila.
Still worth it or only for real Tequila fans?

What's a good Tequila that is not too expensive? I only ever had the cheap stuff. In fact I just realised that even clubs that have somewhat expensive spirits still serve Sierra Tequila Laughing

Sierra is a no go, really. If clubs are going to serve cheap Tequila they should at least go for Jose Cuervo which can be called Tequila at least IMO

Sierra is like if they poured Vodka, I dont' know, Jelzin or Zaranoff from Aldi, or Landwirth from your local gas station counter in your club long drink

@Viva said El Jimador REposado is decent and available

I've been trying stuff around 25-35 € per bottle and it's all quite good

Got another Tequila now

Cazadores reposado

23 € for a bottle and it's rather sweet, like cinnamon and vanilla

While great at first taste, I have to say it's too sweet for me on the whole, though as a Mayan Mule (thanks again, Viva) it's fine once again
