Question is who's the toughest and most intimidating team they faced though and that Bayern team is certainly better, tougher and more intimidating than any Chelsea team ever was.
Tougher than Perez, Lahoz and RFEF?

There is really no question abut this if we want to answer seriously. The most intimidating opponent of Barcelona during this time is the corrupt argentine FA.

Like Benzema being a DM, the many corrupted organisations that have curtailed Barcelona and Messi would never get old.

The real answer is Chelsea tbh, they are the only ones who consistently gave them problems.
When did player fitness ever become a valid argument in these discussions? When Barca last won the CL, every other top team had injuries in key positions, yet that didn't warrant a case for Barca having a relatively easy road to the final. We might as well talk about the clear difference in fitness levels between Barca and Real in the last El Clasico. Marcelo wasn't even 10% fit you know
When it's their best player and someone who carried them to that point it's a pretty important distinction to make.
Besides they wasn't very good at that point, their initial cycle ended the season they signed Fabregas.
Everybody and their mother knew they wasn't the same team that year, thus why the team changed so drastically in the coming seasons.
Besides the biggest reason Bayern is so laughable is their *bleep* coach wasn't there due to dealing with Cancer.
Like I said the only teams who are relevant on this list are Chelsea and Inter.
It took Madrid like 15 games to get one win and Bayern are a laughable suggestion for the reasons mentioned and they wasn't even close to the same team anyway.

Probably Chelsea. Inter was my initial gut reaction, but Chelsea gave Barca more problems over more years than Inter did iirc

No one voting Aletico. Dont forget they beat us to the title that year in the final game of the season iirc. Knocked us out of the CL twice. Also time and again they outplayed us in the past few seasons, even down to 9 men too in one case
Prior to them Real at times, Bayern... not really anyone else. Chelsea beat us in that CL was unbelievable to witness, even harder to take than Inter, but I still refuse to give them credit More just the flaws on Pep really....
