Re: The Movie House - Part 10
Yeah I've seen like 15 2017 movies. Need releases for these Cannes and Sundance films and Oscar season to come.

The secret life of walter mitty
Fun film with some gorgeous shots.
7/10
North by Northwest
At the end of the film, all I could think of was how in the world did Hitchcock direct a film that looks better than most modern films in 1959. The entire mount rushmore set piece was breath taking. Genius film making. Cary Grant's acting I think Kevin Spacey takes inspiration from him because his acting was a lot like how Kevin Spacey does it imo. Unless it was just that particular film?
I didn't find the story that amazing though. Probably would have if i had seen it in the 60s.
8.3/10
Lagaan (2001)
Thought this was a great film. I missed the start of it as i stumbled upon it while channel surfing and remembered freeza saying he's seen this. Was surprisingly really intense and dramatic. That last over Enjoyed this.

I always thought Kevin Spacey took inspiration from Hitchcock's collaborators. Mainly Jimmy Stewart though. Incredible impression he's got of him too.

I'll get back to you if I survive. Heard there were a lot of jumpscares. Hopefully they get me. Stayed away from most of the trailers and stuff because the first trailer got me excited, so I'm fairly dark going in.
Some of the stuff in the book that was too awful to get in the movie was really some nasty shit though. Cary Fukunaga had it in his script
- Spoiler:
- In the book all the children apparently decide to lose their virginities together. 5 boys and 1 girl. Then the boys have sex with the girl one at a time.
The girl is apparently also sexually abused by her father or something in Fukunaga's script
Those things understandablt got Cary Fukunaga fired if he didn't want to cut that out of the movie.
Can't wait though. Never saw the tv movie/mini series.

I wasn't actually. I later learned that it is Rami as Freddie Mercury though, I think I'm a bit too African to know anything much about Mercury or Queen.
But looking forward to this purely because of Rami.

But I'm sure he made his name overseas?
Only thing I knew about him before now was that he was a singer, and that's it.

He was pretty global as far as I know. Queen has made some of the most famous songs of all time. Bohemian Rhapsody, We Wil Rock You, We Are The Champions and Another One Bites the Dust.
Maybe rock music isn't big where you're from.
I always thought they were kind of in the
Elvis, Michael Jackson, Beetles, Rolling Stones tier of fame.

They are. As someone who grew up in South Asia, Queen are almost as well know as MJ, Elvis, The Beatles. Definitely more than Rolling Stones.

Re: The Movie House - Part 10
Thanks man!
I don't like horror movies, so I don't know if I'll watch I Saw the Devil, but Transsiberian seems to be good. Identity was on my watchlist but I've always avoided watching it because of Cusack, I don't like him. I've seen Mystic River, it's a good movie.
