Hamon and Melenchon. Hamon is basically the french Bernie Sanders, a left-wing populist who wants to introduce basic income, tax robots and reduce the 35-hour working week. Melenchon is a borderline communist and is currently polling at around 10%. neither has any chance of winning though.

Macron is a centrist. pro-EU, pro-business, socially liberal, fiscally conservative.

Nope, as far as i know he wants to introduce an automation tax to stop further job losses due to technological advances.

Le Pen plans to offer Poland & Hungary cooperation in ‘dismantling’ EU

That is very very laughable if you Polish people feel that way.

Last I read Poland has absolutely leeched the EU for its development and has in return contributed next to nothing in terms of direct cash.

Wait let me pull out the official figures.

The most up-to-date statistics (as of July 2016) show that in 2014 Poland received €17.436 billion from the EU whilst only contributing €3.526 billion. Poland also received nearly €2 billion more in EU funding than any other member state in 2013 (France being second highest).

Damn you poles have some audacity.

For your information, the Polish government claims they have no business with Le Pen and do not intend to leave the EU.

It's just my personal opinion. The EU helped Poland stand on its legs after the inhuman ideology of communism and I'm grateful for that but what is happening right now is straight up just a farce.

Probably next to nothing but there is this "European togetherness" that has been brought upon the continent ironically by the EU after the ww2, We really know how together everyone was before that.

The EU has a stricter control on member states than the Soviet Union ever had. It's a miserable dictatorship and has little to do with democracy.

Only a really small portion of members deicde on the most important matters. EU's migration policy is awful and they want to literally force it on all of the members.

”We have to take orders from Brussels, we used to take orders from Moscow, we all know how that ended.”

The whole thing shouldn't be thrown away but major changes are needed.

One can be wise after a tragedy happens, one can be wise before a tragedy happens. You? You are never wise.

There is a reason why right-wing leaders are gaining popularity in countries such as France, Holland or Denmark. Better late than never.

Your knowledge of politics is shallow enough that you equate politicians just on the fact that they are right or left wings. Like I always tell you, think a bit for yourself, challenge yourself every once in a while.

Wow, keep being a sheep of the system. What is wrong with the claim that right-wing leaders are gaining popularity anyway? Le Pen, Pernille Vermund and Geert Wilders are all right-wing, anti-migrant and anti-bullsh*t.

You are pro-bullsh*t.

Do you have any other explanation for right wing leaders gaining more popularity?

Reading through the English translations of The grand debate in France.

Le Pen, Macron, Fillion, Hamon and Melechon on the same table.

Le Pen literally brought in Muslims, Religion and Save France when the topic was salary of teachers and bringing down the age of juvenile from 18 to 16. She can't handle questions other than the ones that are against Religion and the EU.

Hamon is going all out against everyone. Macron has floored Le Pen a couple of times but seems clearly a bit hassled when Melechon or Hamon attack him.

From what I can translate:

Thanks Mr Hamon, And Mrs Le Pen what are your thoughts on Agriculture?

Le Pen: Daesh/ISIS/ISIL is at Europe's gates.

15 minutes into Wage and economy:

Mechelon wants more demand, Macron wants a negotiable work hours contract, Hamon wants Universal income. Fillion just interrupting everyone.

Le Pen has been quiet all 15 mins, Here she comes on now..

Le Pen said she didn't want to get into the ``ultra-liberal debate'' between the others. Remember, liberal means conservative free-market in Europe. She says trade has ruined French industry and agriculture. She calls for ``economic patriotism.''

Basically she accuses and says nothing more.

Unlike Brexit which seems a bit more calculated, I think FREXIT is too dangerous. Le Pen has no knowledge of anything other than religion and security.

She might stop refugees and immigration but leaving the EU and her decision could crumble the French economy.

Foreign Policy is the last one:

Le Pen says she wants France to have full control over its military. She repeats falsehood that France would have had to join the U.S. war in Iraq if at the time it had been member of NATO military command (Germany was, and didn't).

Le Pen laughs when Macron says he'll defend the independence of France. (lol)

Macron responds: "I won't build France's independence like you propose through getting closer to Putin" "Contrary to you, I wouldn't enter into a pact with Putin". (Dam Macron can lay one if he wants)

Le Pen pretends not to understand Macron when he tells her Putin doesn't share democratic values. lolx3

Final statements:

Fillon to the French: I am the only to propose you a true change for the country, and who will have a coherent and stable majority

Hamon's summing up statement calls for voting for a ``new desirable future''

Le Pen :Savage globalization has been a nightmare for you. You must find the protection of the nation.'' (Basically her response to everything)
She also says other candidates promises are impossible because EU won't allow them. She says the French must decide for themselves

Melenchon : "I'm not looking for a career.'' He wants to give the Republic back to the French, freeing it from an oligarchy and presidential monarchy. (He's 65 @career)

Macron with some random shite which only upper class people can understand.

So its over.

From I get is Le Pen is actually the French Trump but only worse. I hope for France that if she wins, Her party has enough people who can help make wise decisions for the French economy once they leave the EU. She talks uneducated shite on live TV but she still has a lot of support.

Macron: This guy is very interesting, I don't think he's been able to connect with the poorer people yet, Plus he's 39, That hurts him.

Mechelon: He seemed very eager to take up Macron on most issues. Seems he recognizes Macron is weak and has no experience. Spoke some good points IMO

Hamon: He's the reason Le Pen spoke for 30 mins, He hates her. Could win him some votes.

I expect Le Pen to be in the final but there is a chance she would lose out, She's showing she's all accusations and no proof from the start of the candidacy.

I'd wager Mechelon or Macron in the final run in alongside her and like I said Fillion's supporters will decide this election.

Night lads.
