Juve to activate N’Zonzi clause?
Football Italia8 Hours Ago
Juventus are reportedly planning to activate the €30m release clause of Sevilla midfielder Steven N’Zonzi.
According to L’Equipe, N’Zonzi is Juve’s “No 1 target” in the transfer market this month and Beppe Marotta and Fabio Paratici are ready to meet Sevilla’s demands.
The Europa League holders had hoped to improve the Frenchman’s contract and raise his buyout threshold to €50m.
However, the newspaper claims the player has knocked the offer back, possibly due to interest from the Bianconeri.

Juventus accept Zaza offer?
Football Italia5 Hours Ago
Reports suggest Juventus have accepted an offer from Valencia for West Ham outcast Simone Zaza.
The striker joined the Hammers this summer on a €6m loan deal, which would have become permanent for €23m had he made 14 appearances.
However, the Premier League side have decided they don’t want the Italian international, meaning the Bianconeri have to find a new club for him.
In recent days Valencia have revived their interest in the 25-year-old, and now Premium Sport is reporting that an agreement between the clubs has been reached.
Zaza is thought to be happy to move to La Liga, so only a few details with West Ham remain to be sorted out.

Hopefully Orsolini will not have bad luck with injuries like Mandragora! I hope that he will be given chances next season instead of being loaned out. It seems that we are looking to turn to a back 4 and a trident forward with the signing of wingers.

Ya, I would assume by 2018/2019 were playing with a 4-3-3

Juventus hijack Chelsea and Man City in race to sign £25m La Liga star: Talks held
JUVENTUS are leading the race to sign Chelsea and Manchester City target Steven N’Zonzi, according to reports.
French outlet L’Equipe claim the Sevilla midfielder could be on his way to Turin for around £25m after holding talks with the club.
The former Stoke star has been linked with a move back to the Premier League with Leicester also interested in the 28-year-old.
N’Zonzi is said to have a buyout clause in his contract which would allow teams in England to have bids accepted for £25m.
The Frenchman’s current deal expires in 2019 but Sevilla are keen for him to renew terms in Spain.
The midfielder is said to be tempted by a new challenge with Juventus now leading the race to gain his signature.
The Serie A champions have held talks with N’Zonzi regarding a proposed move as they look to strengthen the spine of their side.
With Mario Lemina likely to be let go by Juve, the Sevilla midfield general is seen as the ideal replacement.
Antonio Conte and Pep Guardiola will have to move fast if they want to rival the Italian outfit in trying to sign N’Zonzi this January.

Steven N'Zonzi
Style of play...
N'Zonzi plays in a defensive role in centre midfield and is noted for being calm and composed whilst in possession and having a good passing ability. He has earned comparisons to compatriot Patrick Vieira both in style and physical ability. He is also able to cover great distance during a match.

Opinions on signing Sapanora now? Perfect trequartista substitute for Pjanic! If he would come for 10-15m, we shall go for it IMO.

isn't Saponara a Milan flop already ?
i don't know mate, i would like to see what Marko Pjaca can give us first. every player in this squad should have a chance to prove himself.
Saponara would take away Pjaca's opportunity as a forward (remember we don't use wingers), and if we display him lower on the field then it's just another Marchisio/Pjanic-esque player therefore doesn't fill the weaknesses we have in the midfield.

Bentancur to Juve this month?
Football Italia1 Hour Ago
It is reported that Rodrigo Bentancur will join Juventus from Boca Juniors this month, as opposed to in the summer.
As part of the deal that took Carlos Tevez in the opposite direction, the Old Lady already have a confirmed option for the young Uruguayan.
It was thought that the Serie A champions would wait until the summer before exercising that right, but according to Argentine media sources Juve are considering an early move for the 19-year-old.
Coach Max Allegri is said to be keen on boosting his midfield options for the second half of the season, and Bentancur could fit the bill.
He is set to feature for his country at the upcoming South American U20 Championships, but would be available to move to Italy following the end of Uruguay's involvement.

Saponara aint bad player but I would prefer someone else for that role. Someone who can be a competition for Pjanic. I wish we kept Pereyra..

Saponara needs to do more before coming here imo. Maybe Empoli with their atrocious strikers is not the best place for an AM to shine but he still hasn't done enough lately. That is unless he is just a straight up bench player.

Confirmed now by Marotta that Evra was left at home so that he could decide his future. Even if he leaves, no replacement will be signed in January because we have Asamoah and Matiello.

Re: - | Transfer Talk | Rumors | News | -
Asamoah is a capable backup to Sandro as A LB in a 4 man backline. He is terrible as a CM or LWB as his passing is terrible and he is not good moving forward. However as a LB in a defensive role he is very capable. We need to spend our money on a proper right back and on a top midfielder. Darmiam can be had for cheap, can play in the CL and at this point is an upgrade over Lichtsteiner. Not sure when Alves gets back but Darmian has always played well in Serie A and just needs to get out of the mule league to get his game back.
As for the midfield I would welcome N'Zonzi as he can help us win the Scudetto and Coppa Italia and allow Khedira to get adequate rest for the CL games. As for Sturaro he has lots of grinta and plays well against the fodder of Serie A. But his passing is atrocious and I don't want him anywhere near starting in CL games. Rincon should be our starter moving forward. I want to see him play in a Juventus shirt hopefully next game

Juventus have secured Sead Kolasinac
JANUARY 8, 2017
Reports in Italy suggest that Juventus have secured the services of Sead Kolasinac for the summer.
The Bosnian left-back is a free agent in the summer when his contract with Schalke expires and Sky Sport Italia report that Juve have already secured the player.
Kolasinac was the subject of interest from both Liverpool and Manchester City but it’s reported that Beppe Marotta has an agreement with the player when his current deal with the German side ends in June.
The dynamic full-back has scored 3 goals in 79 appearances Die Knappen while being a mainstay for the Bosnian national side.

With Kolasinac arriving in the summer Asamoah is expendable in the summer along with Lemina and Hernanes. Bentancur and hopefully Verratti come in...

Kolasinac can also play as a CB so it looks more and more likely that we will not take up the purchase option on Benatia and instead use that money for a top midfielder...
Style of play...
Kolašinac is regarded as a defensive all-rounder which means that he can be deployed in multiple defensive positions. In Kolašinac's Schalke 04 II career, he was deployed mostly as a centre back or defensive midfielder. Schalke head coach Jens Keller has primarily deployed Kolašinac as a left full-back; a playing position in which Kolašinac has received praise. Kolašinac is deemed to be physically strong and tough in his physique, clever defensively on the pitch and defensively consistent in winning one-on-one duels against his opponents.

If he plays a certain amount of games, the clause becomes obligatory. I think it is 15-20. Marrota said earlier that we might buy him. IMO, we should loan him for another year, because Rugani, Caldara, Bonnuci and (Chiellini) will be our Defenders in 2018/2019.
We at least should have let De Ceglie be a reserve in the first team! He is just being payed for nothing now!

Marotta confirmed we gonna buy Benatia. With Chiellini's injury record, Barzagli close to retirement and Caldara will remain on loan for the rest of next season Its good to have Kolasinac.

De Ceglie is from another era, crazy to think he is still in the squad after all those years lol... Should have been sold a long time ago already this lad.
We are fine with Sandro and Asamoah at this position. If Kolasinac is really that good and available for FREE, we won't be the only ones after him. Watch out for Bayern and Chelsea out of everyone else. Can't say i'm very optimistic about this one.
