Even when Pogba plays well for Man United, it's hard for him to shine because the whole team is a garbage. Last season's 2nd place is the worst thing that could've happened, except a finish outside the top four. We didn't deserve the 2nd place after playing with such a negative mentality. We indeed had enough good games, we had games where we attacked a lot and we were clinical, or even a couple of nice comebacks (which nowadays is something very rare for United), but overall, after 38 matches, we didn't honestly and truly deserve to get the silver medals. We were like a very weak pit bull that desperately locked his jaws on the 2nd place and fought for it with its life. It seems like that pit bull lost all the strength after such a battle and now is really dying. Pogba just happens to be the head of a dying team.

I could put the image of Giroud winning the WC and he was effective in a sort of way.  But he was basically there for the ride.  Same with Khedira.

Pogba was a monster in the WC for France. Put the image of Kroos up there holding the WC and I'd agree with you.

Kleberson was a monster for Brazil in 2002. Still, his club career didn't amount to anything really.

You had to go back 16 years dude. And Kleberson failed because Ronaldinho convinced him to go to Man U and promised him he would join up... and then left for Barca. Didn't speak English so had a hard time personally which affected his game. And obviously wasn't the brightest for making that kind of decision anyhow...

Kroos is twice the midfield player Pogboom is tbh. Your guy lost the ball more times against Brighton then Kroos did for us in 4 seasons.
