I always knew Paul was a bit of a ball watcher. Meaning, he is so focused on the ball, he isn't particularly aware of what is going on around him.

You can make a 2 minute video of Kante “ball watching” and call him defensively unaware. In all of these examples Pogba is staying high in case of pressing the opposition and then running back when they get in behind. How many times does the opposition not get behind so easily with him pressing high? He’s literally doing his job and the last clip, especially, was a brilliant piece of defending.

Some of those were just bad lol

But I thought there were more examples given there where the defending was fine. And you can excuse a couple bad clips since no player is defensively perfect all the time.

easily one of the most enjoyable players to watch

took him a couple games to get back to the level he was at after his injury and suspension, but he's very much back there now. Worth every penny we paid.

Paul Pogba joined Kevin De Bruyne and Leroy Sane on nine assists for the Premier League season on Monday, the Manchester United midfielder demonstrating his importance despite being hampered by injury and suspension.

That is despite the former Juventus star having only played in 13 league matches due to a hamstring problem that sidelined him for seven games and the three-match ban he incurred after being sent off against Arsenal.

De Bruyne has started all 23 of City's Premier League matches this term, while Sane has made 21 league appearances for Pep Guardiola's team, 16 of them starts, to reach their nine assists apiece.

He was good until injury and suspension, then he had a falling out with Mou and has been playing like shit since. It's hard to say if it's entirely down to him not wanting to play under that clown Mourinho, but regardless it shows immaturity.

Are people really surprised? Got balls on a platter at Juventus, with GOAT players around him creating space. Even at Juve he didnt seem to care about a win, but is playing for his own Youtube compilation video. Now at United, he actually has to perform and step up. Just another Youtube player.
