Fresh news from Belgium about Witsel. Posted 3 minutes ago.
Zenit and Juve agree on a 15M fee. Direct transfer, no twist in the deal.
Now the only barrier left is the negociation between the player and Juve. Given the fact that he refused Everton and co. to have a chance to come here, i don't think this will be problematic.
Marotta/Godfather meme plz

Juventus, Chelsea finally agree Cuadrado deal -- report
After negotiations that seem to stretch on forwever, Goal UK's Chelsea correspondent, Nizaar Kinsella reports that Chelsea and Juventus have finally reached an agreement over Juan Cuadrado, who will now be heading back to Turin, as expected.
According to the report, Chelsea will receive a £3m loan fee and Juventus have an obligation to buy for a sum of £20m, contingent on Cuadrado reaching a certain number of appearances this coming season. (ed. note: no room for shenanigans there, no sirree bob!)
Juan Cuadrado's future at Chelsea has been very much up in the air this summer despite Antonio Conte claiming multiple times that he'd like to keep the Colombian winger around this season. Cuadrado saw some minutes in pre-season but has been absent from the squad for a while; some reports have claimed that the player himself preferred to move back to Italy, while other rumors claimed Conte was blocking it for whatever reason.
It the end, it would appear that a reasonably good agreement has been hammered out -- provided that Juventus actually go through with the purchase next summer. This move, just as it has all summer, seems best for all involved parties and should hopefully go through as reported.

Juve loan Marrone to Zulte Waregem
By Football Italia staff
Juventus have officially loaned midfielder Luca Marrone to Belgian club Zulte Waregem.
The 26-year-old completed the move today and it’s not clear if there is an option to buy.
Growing up in the Juve academy, Marrone had many loan spells at Siena, Sassuolo, Carpi and most recently Verona.
He played for Italy at Under-21 level, scoring one goal in 31 appearances.
At times, Marrone has been used as a centre-back, but his primarily role is midfield.

Re: - | Transfer Talk | Rumors | News | -
Isco on loan?
Looks like he is on his way out. Madrid only want to loan him out as they have a 2 window transfer ban and want the option to bring him back in the next 2 windows.
The last time we took a Madrid player on loan we went to the CL final. Yes Morata was basically a loan deal as he simply went back to Madrid for a $10M profit after 2 years.
Could we do the same with Isco? Get him on loan for at least this year, bring to Torino Allegri's coveted trequartista, our fantasista, and play a 4-3-1-2 as our second formation, or even third formation?
If it's only a loan deal there is not much to risk. Hernanes out, Isco in. Very simple. What do you guys think? Would he even want to come here? Looks like he wants to go to Malaga. Can Sheikh Marotta convince him to come here to go for CL glory and another CL trophy for him?

with Cuadrado and Witsel I don't think we really need new players
but good players are always welcomed
you take a guy like Zaza and you becomes more valuable you make a profit

Witsel-Cuadrado, double deal for Juventus. The Belgian has left national team training...
Juventus is ready to bring in two new players on the last day of the transfer market: Axel Witsel and Juan Cuadrado. The Belgian has left national team training and the agreement with Zenit for a deal worth 18 million plus 3 million in bonuses is very close. Regarding Cuadrado, they have to sort out a few final details before he can return to the Juventus Stadium this season, but the agreement is close: 5 million for a loan and 20 million for the obligation to redeem the player, pending certain circumstances are met. Two players are very close to joining Juventus, as they are one step away from closing deals for Witsel and Cuadrado.

Witsel and Cuadrado it is! 18m is less than what we bid earlier!!! Marrota's evil plan has worked! Very good price for a 27 year old who has lots of quality! Maybe not the best pogba replacement, BUT we have Pjanic+Witsel now who together give more than Pogba because of their combined strength and Creativity.
Axel Witsel is an amazing name btw...

Re: - | Transfer Talk | Rumors | News | -
Axel Witsel is just fine.I think he'll do good here , he's not a amazing player but he does not have weaknesses.
He will improve further with Allegri.Let's not forget Witsel made Zenit refuse a 30 mln € offer from Everton just to join us.Zenit payed 40 mln € for him 4 years ago.
Beppe was clearly prefering to get him next year for free but around 20 mln € for a potential starter ain't bad, especially with the ridiculous deals these days and Newcastle wanting 35 mln € for Sissoko.
At least we wont do a panic buy like last years Hernanes.Pray to God we can get rid of him soon.
As for Cuadrado I'm very happy he's staying. He has that juventino spirit and feels good here.He never complained about playing time and being used mostly as sub here. That's rare for a player of his level.
With Cuadrado in, we must solve the situation for Lichtsteiner , it's painful to lose such a player , I would keep him but he will see the bench now that Allegri has made Alves a starter right away.
It's better for him to go,preferably outside Italy, maybe Borussia Dortmund or Monaco could be good options for him.
In the end I'd give this mercato a 9/10 . I know we couldn't even dream of approaching player such Pjanic or Higuain etc in a single transfer season but I do miss the grinta we had with Vidal,Pirlo and Pogba.I'm optimistic of our new midfield as well and the team is stronger than ever, insane depth. But I'll wait to see Witsel and Pjanic , how will they do , we cleary have lost a little in midfield but potentially we have the players in midfield to do even better. So for now a 9/10 for Mighty Beppe if both Cuadrado and Witsel will be official deals today. That Isco idea on loan would be insane though...
