Only thing that's stopping a mega push is mic skills and he hasn't been given enough time to determine whether he's good or not.

Don't think Cody had the backing of higher ups like this though and I don't think the crowd was as into him either.

In terms of look and in ring ability I agree tbh but having the backing of HHH and being one of the top merch sellers before you even get on the main roster will probably mean you'll have success.

Ok to Decent Raw, had some enjoyable segments but some skippable segments too.

Enjoyed the opening segment as i said before, some really funny mic work from all involved even if it was random as all hell.

Kind of hoping it sets up Jericho/Owens and Cass/Enzo, the promo work will be worth it alone lol.

Balor and Rollins segment was good, do think Balor can atleast be decent at promos like AJ if he's given enough time. Although i would prefer if Balor and Rollins turned tbh.

Looking forward to Rusev and Reigns, two big, athletic guys who are just going to beat the shit out of each other. What ever happens it makes the US title feel important.

Gallows and Anderson beating up the New Day was fun, but beatdowns always are lol. Hope they win the belts tbh, they need them to legitimize themselves really.

Zayn and Rollins was ok, nothing special though which is to be expected as matches on Raw are not usually that great.

Heyman was great as always and Orton actually "invading" Raw and hitting Lesnar with the RKO makes the feud interesting and it was a great way to end the show.

Does Lesnar return the favour or just disappear till Summerslam lol?

Rest of the show was skippable, but the stuff i mentioned was entertaining enough.

It boggles my mind that they don't turn him heel. All they need to do is give him a 6 month run, and I'll assure you he'll start to get cheered. It's not like the Cena excuse in which Cena sells so much merch it would be bad for biz if he turned. Reigns doesn't sell nearly at the same level and is closer to the likes of Ambrose and New Day, than he is Cena.

Almost anyone getting Roman's push will sell as much (almost because women love him) There's no excuse really, except Vince's babyface fetish

According to Daniel Bryan they're going to be bringing a new Woman's title to Smackdown so the only two female wrestlers can compete over it.

The decision to split the women's roster is looking more daft than ever.

Also Curt Hawkins is returning to Smackdown tonight

Alexa Bliss, Naomi, Carmella, Becky and Natalya is 5 (Eva Marie don't count )

The number of 5 is fine, more wouldn't hurt of course but WWE struggle to do multiple women's feuds as is lol.

Tag teams is the real concern, outside of American Alpha who IMO are the best tag team in the company they have nobody else.

At least RAW has 3 legit tag teams but they shouldn't have been split, Women should have been exclusive to one show and Tag teams on another.

Too late now though.

Smackdown was really good this week, miles better.

Except the Eva Marie farce which lasted no more than a couple of minutes i'd say each segment was at least good.

The Orton-Brock, Ambrose-Ziggler, and Cena-Styles segments were all well done.

Starting to hate the boos Roman is getting as well. I mean two guys are beating shit outta him and they both are getting cheered is just too much hatred imo. Need to make him heel ASAP or we are having a new Batista.

I enjoyed Smackdown.

The Orton-Brock, Ambrose-Ziggler, and Cena-Styles segments were all well done.

I also liked how Bray got his "heat" back after losing, still think he's getting himself in this match.

Same goes with Baron Corbin, much better than the usual lay down after you get beat jobbing. It gives the impression you actually came out on top even if you didn't.

Something which should happen more often.

Bray will be fine imo, Zigglypuff was due a win over him and he needed it more.

Soon as Bray gets his run going on Smackdown and gets the family back he'll be champ on SmackDown. There's nobody pinning him back now but obviously they're not pushing him yet because Dean has only just became champ and they'll throw a couple of people at him to beat before lining up Bray imo.

He might get in the SS match but no matter who's involved Ambrose is holding that title for a few more defences I reckon.

Eh lol? He let him speak just like how Cena let him speak at the beginning.

You'll notice it ended with AJ calling him a loser and a liar if he beats him so whatever happens I win before dropping the mic and leaving.

That's how promos work, it's supposed to be a back and forth between both guys, don't see how you can say he didn't get anything in.

The only thing about the promo I didn't particularly like was the kids and parents thing but by the end it made sense for what kind of story they are trying to tell.

Honestly the only time they let Cena tee off without a response was the contract signing and it was quite obvious it was done to bait AJ into signing the contract.
