Re: So who exactly is going to stop Juve from winning CL next season?
Because it's Atletico. A side that is accustom playing against the odds, against teams that are supposedly better than them. A side that has no issues bending the rules to a point where it is borderline illegal.
We have been down this road with Atletico before so that's part or the whole reason posters fancy Atletico against, well, anyone.

I'm not feeling Atletico this year tbh. Semi final is where they exit, regardless of who they play.
Which reminds me, is the semi-final path already set or is there another draw? Don't remember.

Atletico will comfortably beat the winner of Dortmund-Monaco.

Why so confident?
Monaco could seriously pose a threat with their attacking force

Their team is hanging by a thread are a few games away from a complete collapse. Their season started in august 12 and they have played more games than any European team this season.
They still have Lyon, nice, and ASEE in the league, Cup semis against PSG, and 0 depth for rotating.
Going out against Dortmund wouldn't be the worst thing for their chances at domestic silverware.

I believe there is another draw. So it's not guaranteed Juve would face Real.

Why are we sure Madrid is going through? It's a narrow advantage, and Lewa will be back for the return leg.
The tie is still pretty much open.

I guess you're right. I'm sure Hans is still very confident...

I hope people haven't really doubts on Juve to win the Champions League 2017 after the Real-Barca 2-3.
Real to lose a match on last minute when a tie was perfect because they concede a similar counterattack
Allegri 'd outclass easily Zidane.
Juve could risk to lose this cup just facing the Atletico Madrid in final , another club good to defend and Simeone is tough in this sort of matches(but less in final)

Re: So who exactly is going to stop Juve from winning CL next season?
Juventus are specialists in failing at European cup finals. They have lost 6 finals. 6! 73, 83, 97, 98, 2003 and 2015. They have lost a final in every decade since since the 70s.
When Juve got Evra I knew they had no chance of winning any cls. The guy is just bad luck. He's lost 4 finals in his career and only won 1 on penalties
Atletico are their apprentice in failing at finals with 74 14 and 16.
If it's a Juventus Atletico final I won't be surprised if they both somehow lose the game and no winner is awarded the trophy for 2017

Monaco also lost their 2 European finals.
Madrid got this imo, only legit team remaining.

Like I said numerous times, the trophy is Madrid's to lose.

Re: So who exactly is going to stop Juve from winning CL next season?
The problem is Higuain who doesn't score a lot recently and needs to wake up. We have the easiest draw in Monaco and we are counting on him for the final.
Only 2 things will prevent us from winning the CL this year is a Ramos/Ronaldo miracle or a major Higuain choke. Some patterns have been broken in the past so i choose to not worry about them odds. Honestly i think we are superior to Real on paper and as a group.
