The West is ridiculously unbalanced atm We'd probably be 8th or 9th seed now if we didn't have the 6 injuries at the same time through that 10 game stretch. And we're not even that good yet.

Yeah top 7 is quite good IMO, but the rest are trash and i say that as a supporter of said trash.
I'll laugh my ass off if we get the 8th spot, we'd get swept by the Warriors but still.

Probably I never said it, but I'm a Milwaukee Bucks fan since 2000.
I really love Antetokounmpo
I'd be disappointed if we don't reach play off this year

Great Leader Sprucenuce wrote:Hard to say really, who really saw this jump from Giannis coming? as good as he was before i don't think many saw this.
NBA is a weird league when it comes to development, consistently every year it feels like someone makes a ridiculous jump and the one you expect kind feels like you were let down.
I suppose that's part of what make it an attractive league to watch though.
Can't be bothered to find it but I've claimed Giannis has LeBron like potential
Obviously I was overdoing it, but a lot of people who have been watching the Bucks the last couple seasons did see Giannis having the potential to be one of the best in the league.
Also I wouldn't overdo it James in terms of "Bucks-76ers" domination. Milwaukee is still a trash city nobody wants to go to, nobody knows how Thon will turn out, Bucks still have multiple useless players as well as Monroe on big money, and they're 18-16 atm, which isn't exactly great even with Giannis and Jabari playing well.
Bucks are exciting and young right now but I would be surprised to see it materialize into anything except the usual 8 seed and getting knocked out first round. Milwaukee getting Curry at any point lmao.
Would be lucky to get Javale McGee

Are you a Bucks too ? I'm sincerely excited to read it, because you are the first Bucks that I met in my life I believed sometimes to be the only one in the world..
NBA Live 2001 (PS1) linked me to Bucks , that team with Allen Cassell Pryzbilla etc
So many frustrating seasons in these years, but when you're addicted with a team you can't change it so I was always a Bucks. It's nice to follow it this season though , finally one that looks really interesting for our team

No love for Bucks legend Michael Redd. would always trade for him on 2k8 as my 3 point specialist scorer.

Re: The Official Dwayne Wade <<<<<< you thread
How can GSW maintain this roster for 3 years? This current iteration of the Warriors will break up next year, but not only because of personal goals/ambitions. Curry's contract is 12M and expires on 2017, you can bet that he'll get 3x times that next year and that will mean at least one of the other big earners like Klay, Draymond, Iguodala will leave.El Gunner wrote:So I was just thinking about this now after watching videos of how KD move has caused Curry's drop in numbers and in turn has affected him not being the face of the NBA anymore, and how this is a bad thing for Under Armour, the young kids who looked up to him so much, etc etc etc.
And I thought of this hypothetical for 5 years into the future of the NBA.
It's no myth we got two powerhouses in the NBA at the moment who are clearly the top dogs in the West and East, and we're just waiting for the finals, all due respect to Toronto and San Antonio because they do well keeping up such fantastic regular season records.
Let's say this super-manufactured and managed team in the Dubs win the next 3 championships, which is the sort of thing that they were built for in the first place. Or maybe just 2 out of the next 3. Certainly a possible thing.
So let's then say Curry decides that he wants to do something more to build on his reputation and legacy. He decides he wants to move. Klay also decides he wants to show off his shooting prowess elsewhere and help another team out to fight for the chip. The Warriors break up, Durant stays at GS, Klay moves to Lakerland who by now are a solid team and Curry??? Pls don't mention Charlotte, he would at least have to have 1 or 2 relevant players around him to fight for the Chip. So where does Curry move to?
I was thinking Boston, but I just can't imagine the easy-going light skin California guy in Boston. So I was thinking this Clippers team that will never ever do something break up. Steph moves there, maybe CP3 stays and becomes the more than able understudy. Maybe even plays at point and let Steph be the shooting guard Get Cousins in at the Clippers as well and find some two other big forwards who are good at defending. LeBron retires leaving Kyrie as the main man at Cleveland, however I can't see Kyrie carrying them to Chip victory on his own throughout a playoff run so he would need help, maybe then in Anthony Davis? By now the Bucks and Timberwolves are well-oiled machines led by Giannis and KAT respectively, and who knows, maybe Westbrook or Harden end up at one of them as well. Philly are still growing perhaps, or maybe Embiid decides he wants to move to the ever consistent Spurs and breathe some new life into them. The talent would be spread out more evenly across the NBA board, how would things turn out? Who would win the Chip then? Would the NBA be more fun?

Pretty sure they can keep them if they're willing to pay some taxes. They have some bird rights I reckon, so that'll fix everything.

I'm so tired of people running into Centers standing still with their elbows and then flopping and getting FTs... It's so annoying to look at

That's not how NBA contracts work buddy.
Klay and Dray are already signed for multiple more years. Warriors have Steph's Bird Rights. They can sign him to the max and go over the cap and it wouldn't matter. They have to sign KD and all other roster spots before they complete the Curry deal and they will be fine.
The only real decision to make might be between Iguodala and Livingston. They are both very meh this season, Livingston is especially shit. Ian Clark is better than both off the bench. I would rather we keep Clark and get rid of both of those.

I live an hour and a half from Milwaukee so I don't have much of a say in the matter lol. I don't watch the NBA much though I do follow the results and the players these days.
I can't believe there is another Bucks fan on here, that's crazy. And I agree, I am cautiously optimistic

I've attended many Suns games over the years (a lot during the Nash era in mid-00s when I was in high school). Watching NBA games live is dope.
crowds are meh though. football crowds >>>>
I like college basketball crowds. The chanting isn't generic like NBA games.
Currently since the Suns suck it's about $15 to see them play shit teams like Brooklyn, Denver, etc. about $30-40 to see them vs Cavs/Warriors.

I hope the Suns get number 1 pick so they can draft Fultz and get some star power back to the city. This is by far the worst team Suns has had since I've been born. There's huge basketball fever in this state and Suns sucking has drained the excitement out of it.

If not Phoenix, I hope it's the 76ers. Can you imagine Fultz, Simmons, and Embiid growing together. Holy shit their games would fit so well with each other. And they would make the playoffs their first year together I'm quite sure.
