Where to the PL? None of the top teams need another (expensive) striker aside from Arsenal who lack the ambition. I hope he leaves Napoli though, needs to win the CL.

I don't think PSG is about to drop however much Higuain will cost when they just committed to Cavani (if they do we should go for Cavani ). The EPL has money to spare. Arsenal, Chelsea and maybe City could use him.

De Laurentiis will not negotiate with us. If we bring him its through the clause. In which case its up to Higuain, who, if he has offers to the EPL, I don't see choosing us.

There were reports that Chelsea was thinking of selling Costa; If they sell Costa then they could easily go for Higuain. Conte has always been a fan and alreasy tried to get him. Arsenal too, like you say. With the City Aguero is always permainjured so maybe its not so out of hand.

There was no video evidence first time i read iirc. Some of them were made up/forced upon by Napoli PR's. I think you're reading too much into those quotes.

Even if he said them, words are wind. He probably wanted to please the Napoli fans. I doubt that he actually hates Juve.

The only way Higuain joins Juventus is if his release clause is triggered, which would allow Juventus to circumvent Napoli and more specifically, De Laurentiis.

The thing is, I can't imagine Juventus triggering the release clause. I can see them tabling a large offer but ADL is a stubborn man.

And? What do Juve need to improve on in Serie A? score more goals?

They want to win the CL and based on Higuains CV and his exploits he is definitely not worth the price. It would be the equivalent of us saying we bought Ibra to win the Cl.  Higuain has shown he is a bottler at the highest level. Every year he has a high profile mental collapse. For that price based on what he can give them he isn't worth it but based on todays market that isnt really anything. If Juve think he is worth it and want to pay that much then he is worth that much. Personally I don't see what he will add to the squad. I hope he proves me wrong.

This. Juventus will walk the league regardless. If they are bringing Higuain for CL by paying crazy money, then its a poor decision. The guy is a big game flop and he proves that fact continuously. Morata on the other hand delivers in big games and hence is tailor made for CL campaign.

there are only 5-7 elite strikers around now and Higuain is one of the more attainable ones along with Giroud

crazy how a couple of years ago we were thinking 40m for a top forward was bananas

an elite striker is what Juve need if they want to win CL again, good reinvestment of the Pogba sale IMO
