Re: Official: Higuain to Juve
Cavani was purchased for 20m, there are "bargains" out there if they know where to look. 90m is plenty to rebuild the squad, definitely more than most people think Higgy is worth.

Re: Official: Higuain to Juve
Do people not realise how much Juve are going to improve by next season? Higuain, Pjanic, Alves, Benatia & Pjaca all in one summer is just unbelievable.

It's almost August though , it's the worst period to move on mercato with EPL to begin soon.
They reinvested very well on Higuain because Benitez attracted international players like Higuain or Callejon , no chances to do it with Sarri also because Sarri prefers proven Serie A players . Showed also from every signings made under him.
Even now their names are Bacca and Icardi, two solid CF for Serie A. And if in the 2nd case you can believe he might become a Cavani, about the Columbian we talk about a player old 30 years.

I said Higuain is one of the best strikers in the world, last season possibly the best, a great addition for Juve, they have all that money from the Pogba sale anyway, so why not spend it on a top striker.
You disagree? It's not that controversial an opinion tbh.

Worst comes to worst I have been saying for a while that when Gabbiadini played, he did so very well. Napoli might not even need a CF

Well, that's a bit extreme, even for Neapolitan people.

I wouldn't be surprised if they burned his house down, they don't joke around over there.

This thread will become golden if Juve win the Champions League this year with Higuain. The banter will be too much for the servers and GL could get shut down permanently.

If Higuain wins the CL it will be the ultimate proof that Messi was holding him back for Argentina.

My life will be complete if Higuain scores the winner in the CL final against Barca. Messi fanboys will be finito.

Re: Official: Higuain to Juve
Well let's see:
- Never scored against Barca and he played a ton games against them.
- I don't recall him scoring against Atleti either... but he may have.
- Scored 8 goals in 48 CL appearances at Real Madrid.
- Has consistently flopped in the big games at NT as well.
- Countless crucial PKs missed.
It's more than one incident.
It's all here:

And that thread was started on July 4, 2015... 2 years after he had left Madrid.

Sportsczy, you're incredible
How are his performances 4 years ago are relevant now? Aren't his recent performances more relevant?
What has Payet done 4 years ago? But i didn't hear you mentioning his old performances now.
I can't believe that some people can't accept that there are people who actually improve.

Re: Official: Higuain to Juve
As a Juve fan, Higuain being a well documented choker is a concern for me. It's not an assumption, it's a fact.
If he ends up being a 94M flop then the club will look a bit stupid, but what else ? We'll still win Serie A. After all it's not our money that's involved, it's Juve's.
Marotta makes a bet here. You get the missing piece of your puzzle and become CL contenders but you might lose some credibility if it doesn't work out. Ambitious but fair bet imo, even more so because Mandz is still there as back-up.
