I don't know where Wijnaldum will even play.
Lallana, Milner, Markovic, Ings, Origi are already going to be vying off the bench for those front 4 positions.
He's a good player but literally no need for him. If it's actually true, a lot will depend on the price. Doubt Newcastle sell him for less than 20-25m in this market. We've already got two 20-25m benchers in Lallana and Markovic.
Would rather we spend that on a LB and CM.

Wijnaldum is a great player and would be a smart addition tbh.

I think he is better than both of them tbh and also Milner.

Napoli, looking at Lyon’s Tolisso once again: meeting with his agent expected shortly (GDM)
Doubt he leaves OL, Aulas is a stingy bastard, i remember when Napoli was vehemently chasing Gonalons for 4 transfer windows until they finally gave up

Now that Robben's injured Bayern are apparently back in the mix chasing after Leroy Sané.

Hard to really evaluate properly but I'll give it a try.
He's a threat in and around the box and despite his size is very good at scoring in the air. Has great close control and ability to dribble, but my criticism of him is he doesn't get involved enough and goes missing an awful lot.
He doesn't seem to demand the ball and if it's not given to him then he'll disappear for long periods of a game, which is frustrating because unlike most midfielders who are a goalscoring threat he doesn't lack ability on the ball in the slightest.
In terms of what Klopp is thinking here I'd imagine it's because of said goalscoring threat from midfield, no one on your team comes close in that regard.

we paid 34m for Mane. He will start on the right. Firmino and Coutinho are 100% starters.
I don't know if it's smart to pay 25m for depth. I agree he's better than Markovic and Lallana though.
At the end I wouldn't mind if Klopp think it's best. He's probably thinking about having interchangeable players without losing quality.

Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerín (21) is considering a move to Manchester City, and is a big fan of Pep Guardiola. [Mundo Deportivo]

Meh, Bellerin isn't really all that.
At least not when he joins City.

City should stop jacking off to Arsenals full backs it's becoming an obsessive disorder.

Lazio are looking to secure good players for new coach Simone Inzaghi. A deal is now almost complete with KV Oostende for Jordan Lukaku(6 million euros ). Negotiations are still ongoing for the defender.
Upfront, West Ham's Enner Valencia is an idea but negotiations have been difficult and this is why Lazio now also have interest in Ciro Immobile. Their idea is to try and get the player on loan for 2 million euros with a buy-back clause set at 8 million euros. Lukaka-Valencia-Immobile, these are presently the hot names for Lazio ...

Romano: #Icardi is unsellable for #Inter, but they could have second thoughts if they are offered over €60 million.

Re: 2016/17 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. II
In today's market, 60M for Icardi doesn't seem that bad.
23 years old, very consistent goal scorer and very underrated in my opinion- I wonder if its because of his character defects.
The amount of goals he scores for a dogshit Inter team that does not create any chances is great.
