They are definitely the biggest teams that have consistently been signing scrubs. No clubs with such history have fallen into overpaying for average players as much as these two for so long. At least in recent years (before someone says Steaua or something). These 2 were in the CL final twice against each other not long ago. Now they could benefit from changing almost the entire 11.

Im not hating on the club/fans btw. Im hating on the poor transfer policies that have brought great clubs down.

really. man u alone have spent £300 mil since Fergie left a title winning team. how much has city Chelsea barca and madrid wasted on scrubs. have a look around mate.

But United finished above Liverpool still, and they do try to reach for top players and prospects in Di Maria, Falcao, Depay, Ibrahimovic, Mkhitaryan, etc. I like them much less than I like Liverpool, but they do better.

City, Barca, Chelsea and Madrid have very clearly done better. How do they even compare? they constantly win titles and have some of the most sought after players in the game.

It doesnt matter, it was just a name of a CL winning club with proper history that doesn't really feature anymore. Not unlike Liverpool. Change it for any other club then.

I log on, and all I see is everyone arguing over stupid shit. I'll be back tomorrow to see if people are actually posting rumors

I'll toss some in though to see if we can get the back rolling again

*According to the Telegraph (lol) we are interested in Depay
*According to twitter, we sat down with Milan officials and they were discussing some of our players (I'm guessing it's Vermalean, perhaps maybe Song/Tello/Turan since those are the players we are looking to offload)
*According to multiple sources, we are close to signing Vietto from Atletico. Unclear yet if it would be a purchase or a loan

if he keeps up the form he showed last season it's a great deal, which remains to be seen

36m for him is worth any potential risk though, one I wish we would have taken
