Investors coming into Ligue 1
Chinese investor taking majority share of OJC Nice.

OM getting sold to an Iranian group for 100 mil and they are intending to invest 500-600 mil into the club. The group is Iran Air... who is really the government. So OM is going to be owned by Iran basically.

My family was exiled from Iran in the late 70s... thankfully half my family is french. So no lol.

Aren't all these Middle Eastern investors pretty much government level officials in their countries?
Like ain't PSG pretty much owned by Qatar, City by Saudi etc?
Seeing how FFP is useless, I don't really see the problem if it gives more power to the smaller clubs to even out the field with the giants.

That's the interesting thing... Qatar and Iran are rivals in the ME. So OM v PSG will not only be a French rivalry, it would be a bitter ME rivalry too lol. Money would flow like crazy.
You need a couple of elite teams for any top league so it would be a godsend for Ligue 1. Lyon will have to up its game though.... severely... if it wants to stay relevant.
