When is the last time a South American team won the World Cup?

Oh wait...

Strong argument bro.

That's like saying when the PL dominated the CL but one team from Spain or Italy kept beating them that they wasn't dominant because one team managed to beat them.

Same thing here, because Germany managed to beat Brazil and Argentina doesn't mean the whole of Europe is stronger.

Nope, but i fail to see how Brazil, Argentine or Chile are better than the elite European teams. English teams back than were more present in the later phases of UCL, it's not the case of South American teams.

No need to pay attention to irrelevant games outside of tournaments imo hmm

Besides being better than the likes of Belgium, England, italy and Spain isn't exactly a massive achievement either way.

Eh? the last WC KOs were dominated by South American teams lol.

Besides being better than European elite is hardly difficult, as i mentioned above none of them are really that impressive.

European teams dominate all WCs other than those played in extreme climates... the results are very clear.

You laugh at Brazil but i can pretty much guarantee they'd beat Spain lol.

Dunno why are you trying to hype up Europe's others outside of Germany anyway. Italy are completely irrelevant, Spain was out of the group stage last time they were in a tournament, England are well nothing needs to be said, Belgium are overrated as *bleep* and so on.

I might be prepared to be convinced about France but even then i doubt it and i'm pretty sure Brazil would beat them. Especially with Giroud up front Laughing

Tbf Brazil wouldn't even have managed to beat Croatia at home if it hadn't been for blatant referee favouritism.

A worse Croatia than today's at that.

Why not? it's there in black and white. Just look at the teams and you'll see the reality. But if RG wants me to stop i will.

What teams ?  Both  Guays are garbage and just got booted out of the Copa by North /Central american teams . Laughing
Brazil  has the worst team since its inception .
Colombia has a some bling bling upfront but a dreadful defense and no depth in midfield .
Peru ? Venezeula ?  B+ players with most of their stars  past/nearing the end of their prime .
Chile is great unit but hardly boasts any world class talent  beside Vidal and Sanchez .

Only Argentina is WC , and they just lost a WC final to a european team if memory serves me right . hmm

( last post about this , sorry RG )

How about you actually adress this post Mole and tell me where i'm wrong about any of those teams . Laughing

Brazil getting Rek 1-7 at home by european team and then 0-3 by another didn't happen in your world i guess .

A healthy France?  Not a chance.  If we had two of Varane, Sakho, Zouma and Laporte healthy/not suspended...  a lot of our problems go away.   Let alone have Lass there and Benz reinstated.

As it stands, we're still pretty good despite massive injuries.

Considering that Holland are now completely irrelevant that they have Newcastle players playing for them lmao.

I'll ignore that 3-0 and state that only Germany would surely beat them for the reasons i have already stated.

You say that only Argentina have a strong team yet England, Spain, Italy, Belgium and so on are supposed to be strong?

Give me a break lmao.

As if Brazil has even better striker than Giroud Laughing

Spain played with Past it players with Past it tactics, this is a completely different team, although that are not elite but Brazil are not any better. Brazil got humiliated 7-1 , tell me one single top team that can achieve that score? Even if Spain tried hard they wont lose like that.

Uruguay are absolute shit apart from Suarez which is kind of proven both statistically and performance wise. They are no way good enough to take on any European top teams.

Argentina and that's it.

Talent level of Spain,France and Germany is much higher.

Brazil would produce 10 flair and fancy players but it cant be denied their midfield is shit. Some guy called Elias starts for them.

European teams have better balance and quality throughout the playing positions than SA teams especially the top ones.

Brazil were mentally *bleep* that day after losing their two leaders, that doesn't and shouldn't represent their quality as a team.

See i don't think either side is that great, as i have stated football is at an all time low quality wise but....

You are stating these teams are weak but apparently the likes of Spain are strong lol, so much bias and no balance in your argument.

Spain rofl

Seriously stop mentioning them, they got smashed by a shit Holland last time they were in a tournament.

And they have hardly been impressive since then with 5 goal a season Morata being the main goal threat.

You lose all credibility when you try to claim Brazil are shit and Spain are strong.

You do realize that Spain still has one of the most stacked teams in the world despite their recent WC failure , right  ? Laughing  France's players didn't suddenly become trash after their failure in 2002 , and we all know what happened in 2006 . hmm

Just look at these midfield options ffs:

Busquets, Iniesta, Thaigo , Saul , Koke , Isco , Fabregas , Silva , Gabi , Cazorla , D.Suarez ...

I never said that they are, you are the one that is claiming that Europe is strong and South America isn't. I just said the best teams in South America are stronger than the majority of Europe's " elite ". Which based on the last major tournament they are.

PS based on what? last time they were in a major tournament ( only way to really judge this) Brazil was in a semi final and Spain were out in the group stage and their only win was against Australia lmao.
