I'm not surprised that Italy won this, in fact I called it before.

Congrats to them, however they'll have to do better once they face actual opponents.
In fact they will have to somehow build some midfielders and attackers out of clay or something. These players they have are just terrible, but the most terrible ones seem to be right up Conte's alley. Strange stuff.

Wilmot is garbage, how have they allowed him to waste such a generation of talented players. Tactically Belgium looked completely lost. There was no midfield at all, Naingolan and Wistel barely existed. Wilmot's poor coaching is even getting to the players individually, De Bruyn was very poor, he tried everything but nothing came off. Lukaku the less said the better Laughing

And why is when they have a player like Carrasco he is not being put on the pitch. The world has seen how brilliant he was in the CL final for Atleti. Yet this moron plays with Fellaini for the full match, and brings scrubs like mertens ahead of him.
De Bruyne was playing crap througout the match and he was never taken off.

Worst NT coach by a country mile.

As a member of the armchair tactician club, if you don't think Italy's lack of quality won't be a problem, then I don't know what to tell you. One game against an incredibly overrated Belgium doesn't change the fact that they lack quality higher up the pitch.

Conte is the best coach in the Euro also because he represents an anomaly . It's rare to watch a coach in his prime to lead a NT and not a club . NTs are for old retired coaches ( del bosque l ) or for who doesn't get other job (deschamps) or for who is still nothing ( low , wilmots )
