Venezuela has also one of the best coaches arround. He is playing a good CA. The man is very respectful, i like him.

Indeed.

Venezuela really deserve a pat on the back this time around.

Vargas is the love child of Gago and Robben. Not really the skills, but the natural fitness. He's injured like shit. Has just been bought by Anderlecht, so lesse how he does with Lukaku Very Happy

Yeah, completely f'ed us for next match.

Anyways, is the Gold Cup valued more in Mexico than the Copa América, or is it just a slap in the face to CONMEBOL? I would have liked to see Chicharito do some damage.

It seems the sex scandals got more coverage than you winning it Very Happy

No it's not that. IIRC Mexico has always had their A Team for CA since they've been invited. This time, however, Jack Warner implored Mexico to use their A team for the Gold Cup. We complied (unwillingly) and thus we initially sent the U-22 team plus 5 veterans for the CA, but then 7 players (5 of them starters and vital ones at that (horny kids )) were caught in the prostitution scandal. We actually had them beating the likes of Bolivia and drawing with Colombia, I think, so really we wern't ill prepared untill the scandal which occured just days right before the CA. And that, as they say, is that.

Uruguay is breaking up the "Uruguayans are the cool Argentines" stereotype.

But well, seems like he's homophobic and racist.

The bad N word only black people use.

That sort of shit can get you banned in many places just by mentioning it... good thing he wrote it in Spanish.

From the homophobic footballer thread.

He's probably going from the "3/4 of the Brazilian NT is black" stereotype.

It's okay, I called Tevez missing the penalty and now I regret it wholeheartedly... if only I had given him my support things might look very different now.

Funniest thing I've read all day Laughing Laughing Laughing

About negro sucio, it doesn't necessarily mean n*****, it could also mean person from the ghetto/poor person. Still a very bad thing to say, but it's not necessarily the N word (I haven't read the original quote).

edit: censored by popular request, although I don't see what's wrong with typing the word so long as it's not being directed towards anyone

Exactly... most poor people are black. It can mean both things but when he's replying to a dude with a Neymar avatar, it's pretty obvious what he means.

A question to you Argentines: What hurts more, losing against Uruguay or against Brazil?
