Re: The Movie House - Part 7
I've watched 1868 movies from what I can gather. If you want to make lists I'd recommend using Letterboxd instead of IMDb. Much easier to use for that purpose.

Can you explain why do you recommend it?
And regarding the number of movies, I am highly pretentious before watching a movie. Probably exaggerated at times. I usually watch only what I believe it will be a good lesson for me in the end and a very beneficial experience.
Concerning most of the bad movies from my list, I've seen them in special circumstances or when I was a kid, probably at TV.
I am pretty sure that from a list of 1868 movies, at least 35% of them would be by my personal standard a waste of time. And I hope you don't misunderstand me. I don't believe it has something to do with anything related to intelligence, refinement or other stuff. It's all about patience, how we invest time and other factors that influence us to pick a movie and just watch it.
I kind of felt at first that 541 is much less compared to 1868, but I explained all this because I still think that I can consider myself a movie addict.
I have to leave now! Thanks for the help, RG! Much appreciated!

Re: The Movie House - Part 7
It's much easier to search movies you've seen than an IMDb list. You can mark them quickly and then search all the films you've seen by a bunch of categories.
It's also a social media site with a bunch of lists and reviews recommending films.
I watch a lot of "shit" movies. I don't hide that. I love watching romantic comedies as a guilty pleasure. Think I've watched all of them by now. At least after 2000.

Re: The Movie House - Part 7
I would say I've seen about close to 1000 even if my Letterboxd shows a number closer to 900, I haven't marked 'watched' for every single movie I've seen in my life.
Talking about some of them movies being shit, I watched Knock Knock starring Keanu Reeves yesterday with a few friends because we didn't have much else to do
And oh yea Vlad, definitely use Letterboxd over imdb.

Don't skip any please. Prisoners also has Gyllenhaal.
I can't wait for your reaction when you watch Prisoners. Favorite movie of that year for me.
Watch Prisoners first. then Enemy and Incendies. And by the time you finish you're gonna wanna watch Sicario as well.

Early 2000s comedies are The GOAT years imo. Endlessly re-watchable

Some years ago. Don't know how much I liked it. Remember it fondly though.

So apparently John Turturro is currently filming a spin-off with his Big Lebowski character.

Yeap, RG skip Sicario.
