Re: Worst Coaches Ever.
Ferrara at least left Juventus in the Champions League spots, I think you're being a bit harsh. He wasn't great, however there have been far worse.

I'd go for McClaren.
Probably the worst ever England manager.

Re: Worst Coaches Ever.
To his credit, though, Raymond Domenech DID bring Lyon to Ligue 1 when he coached them .
Then again, that was the same year Bernard Lacombe arrived (correct me if I'm wrong)... and thus, the transfer monster Jean-Michel Aulas was born.

Re: Worst Coaches Ever.
Del Neri. Zacheroni. Not Ferrara, he didn't as bad as these others. There have been far worse coaches.
Domenico Di Carlo for Sampdoria. Took a CL team, to relegation into Serie B.

ZacCheroni*
And how is Di Carlo a bad coach ? He was doing fine until Sampdoria lost Pazzini and Cassano. If anything, the president of the club is to blame. He had no attacking power available. They brought in a 19-year old who has hardly played at Manchester United and he did not do as well as the team needed. Not his fault.

Re: Worst Coaches Ever.
Avram Grant got two clubs relegated consecutively. Can't beat that.
Portsmouth won the FA Cup just two seasons before he took over.
West Ham finished 9th two seasons before he took over.
Both teams finished 20th.
He's like Roy Hodgson but the opposite.
Then again he got Chelsea to the Champions League Finals which even Mourinho couldn't do.

That Chelsea team even my grandmother would have gotten to the CL finals, though.

Re: Worst Coaches Ever.
I don't see how McClaren or Hodgson could be considered the worst coaches. Both have taken clubs - and they weren't big clubs, either (excluding Inter) to a Europa League final (UEFA Cup in McClaren's case) and McClaren has had domestic success with Middlesbrough and FC Twente.
Having a couple of poor season doesn't make you a bad coach.
Now Collymore and Ince are two examples of pretty bad coaches.

Very harsh on Di Carlo. As JNC said, he lost his two best players in January and they weren't suitably replaced. Two important members of the national team (and one of the best partnerships in the league) replaced by Macheda and Maccarone. And the appointment of Cavasin is what killed them off. It's as if Garrone was already preparing for life in Serie B.
As for Juve, I agree that Ferrara in the end wasn't as bad as the others and was perhaps criticized unjustly, just like Ranieri with Juve. Though Zaccheroni did have some success in the past. Did well in his first season with Milan, then with Inter and Lazio, though Mancini replaced him twice.
