of course Germany is getting richer, even had a surplus budget last month !!!. Germany using other EU states like colonies. All the companies are in Germany yet common euro means their currency is artificially devalued than what would have been if Germany was an independent country. Well played Germans.
Re: Brexit: Should the UK stay or go?
Meh, if the EU economy were more centralized, the nations currently at a disadvantage from that, could just get themselves a hefty payout from Germany's treasury.
So more Federation, not less!

Could would....
All i know is unemployment in other states are in alarming rate and their wage growth is often negetive and negligible.
Only Germany getting rich. This is a fraud set up.
Re: Brexit: Should the UK stay or go?
Germany was getting rich while everyone else was in the shitter long before the Eurozone became a thing.
Eastern Europe is poor AF because you can't dial back Soviet occupation in two or three short decades, not because ze Germans are stealing yer treasure, mateys. Eastern Germany would be a dystopian hellhole if the West hadn't been sinking trillions into it over the past 27 years. And it's still not great there.

Record numbers of EU nurses quit NHS

I am glad we are taking back control.

Yea, because the reason we were hiring nurses from the EU was because there were abundance of nurses in the UK right?

Nobody wants those jobs. Nurses get paid like shite in comparison to the demands. Unbelievably difficult and frustrating job. Always believed they deserved much better pay. Maybe once we get that 350m a week we'll save from leaving the EU.

no the reason we were hiring from Europe was because being in the eu Ment we couldn't stop them from coming here and getting a job. Or are you saying it's a fact that no British people want to be a nurse.RealGunner wrote:Unique wrote:maybe we could train some young British people to be nurses now there's an ideaRealGunner wrote:Record numbers of EU nurses quit NHS

Re: Brexit: Should the UK stay or go?
because it's been reported every year, for years, that there's a severe shortage of nurses? you're such a melt, if you actually did some research and didn't use the 'IMMIGRANTS TOOK ER JERBS' excuse for why you and your ilk are bummin' around you would see that a large number of foreign nationals fill job roles that British citizens don't or can't fill. I was visiting my grandfather in the hospital quite frequently last year and noticed a VERY large number of the nursing staff seemed to be foreigners and all seemed very competent at their job.

Re: Brexit: Should the UK stay or go?
show me some proof where it states for a fact that no British people are willing to be trained and work a job as a nurse. Don't just run your mouth off like a tit like you always do. Show me the proof and you can end the debate.Firenze wrote:because it's been reported every year, for years, that there's a severe shortage of nurses? you're such a melt, if you actually did some research and didn't use the 'IMMIGRANTS TOOK ER JERBS' excuse for why you and your ilk are bummin' around you would see that a large number of foreign nationals fill job roles that British citizens don't or can't fill. Re: Brexit: Should the UK stay or go?
They already do. Germany and France contributed more to the EU's coffers than the UK did. Most countries are net receivers.VivaStPauli wrote:Meh, if the EU economy were more centralized, the nations currently at a disadvantage from that, could just get themselves a hefty payout from Germany's treasury.

yeah but the problem was the people of the Uk were going without so the government can help out the rest of Europe. That's why people voted out.BarrileteCosmico wrote:It's almost like the rich pay for the poor, the system in nearly every european country

Literally the same here in DK. I don't know about nurse jobs but in general no one wants those jobs. That's why immigrants take them yet people complain about itFirenze wrote:Nobody wants those jobs. Exactly. As far I know the nurse educations are never fully enrolled, which means you can enter with any grade average from a high school education.

Re: Brexit: Should the UK stay or go?
Tories took away the bursaries for Nurse training in here. No one wants to pay out of their own pocket while having debt over £40k before even starting work. Not to mention being nurse is one of the hardest things in here. Not many people want to do it.
There is a severe shortage of nurses in the country and has been in the last 5 years. In 2016 there were over 1000 vacancies for nurses per city. And that is despite EU workers working as nurses.
But now that brexit has hit, it is going to get worse.
But at least we are taking back control.

Re: Brexit: Should the UK stay or go?
maybe we should try this. it could work who knows. once we stop giving billons of pounds to Europe we should then look at all the other billions of pounds we give in aid to countrys that have nuclear bombs and a space program. add all them billions we would save from that alone and the goverment could do more to improve working condisions and more support in training young british people to nurses. it sounds like the most simple idear but it could work.RealGunner wrote:Tories took away the bursaries for Nurse training in here. If you want well paid doctos and nurses you gotta pay. In the US a mid career nurse can make real money (a very good one could make upwards of 100k after 10 years or so) but we also have one of the most expensive health care systems in the developed world.
