Thats a massive blow. He is their most important player. Luckily they have easier games for a while. Hope he will get back by the time their going gets tough again. Whose the replacement btw ?

He was awful on the goal but he kept Pool in the game until penos with a couple of great saves too. Not him who missed a handful of pens and like Sterling, bottled a simple finish from 10 yards out.

Okazaki is a workhorse. He can surely play as a workhorse CM and play ulloa up top.

He made one really good save, but let's be honest how many of those saves did he make where you say 'wow that is world class'? Even if he did, it doesn't make up for letting in a terrible goal like Fernandinho's. You expect a great keeper for a team fighting for a trophy to make great saves -- you don't expect them to let in howlers.

Besides, even though he was good in the game aside from giving up an awful goal, that gave City a ton of momentum, I was talking about his season as a whole. No keeper has cost their team more points than Simon Mignolet. His performances, and his stats, are absolutely awful for a team that aspires to be in the CL and win trophies.

Don't even get me started on Moreno.

But, as they are both Liverpool players and I see no indication that Klopp intends to drop them, I will hope that they somehow find the skill/form to turn around into world class performers.

i checked and they apparently also have that new signing of theirs 21 yo DM Daniel Amartey. The kid was a beast on fm 15. Can play as a DM and CB. Hope he too will get a look in now.
EDIT oh he played against Norwich and did decently. Cool Thumbs up
