Foreign clubs are capable of greasing his pockets too .That would be a better option for him than moving to a direct rival you would think ? He would also avoid the backlash of the fans in the process.
Btw he was a Zidane fan(at Juventus) growing up just for info's sake not that it means anything tho anyway

Loyalty still exists, specially at Roma with players like Totti, De Rossi, Florenzi and Naingglan.
Nainggolan has repeatedly said he would never join Juve and that he would stop speaking to Pjanic if he did . Pjanic has said nothing like that but like S says, if a foreign club comes paying the same or more, would he choose Juve? doubtful.

Re: 2016/17 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. I
I'm loath to call it loyalty tbh, more like they get paid better than they would at other clubs or other clubs just don't want them.
I don't believe for a second De Rossi would still be there if he wasn't paid ridiculous amounts. In fact he's came close to leaving many times before Roma ultimately succumbed to pressure and upped his wages significantly each time.
And i doubt more successful clubs than Roma are absolutely desperate to sign Florenzi and Naingollan tbh as neither are THAT good.

Pretty much, we came close to signing De Rossi, Chelsea as well if i recall, and Roma made him the most paid player in all of Italy. They played the home club card + tons of money which made a difference

Loyalty might not be the appropriate word here but in a scenario where Juve and a foreign club triggered the clause, out of pure respect to Roma,he would move to the foreign club.Thats what i think.

Re: 2016/17 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. I
But it is. Mourinho tried to sing De Rossi at Inter and Madrid. No doubt that at Madrid he would have made more money and had TONS more trophies and success. Earning money doesn't make him disloyal, it just means he isn't dumb.
Same for Totti.
Loyalty, respect, call it what you will but Nainggolan will never play for us and we sure as hell would take him if we could.

Re: 2016/17 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. I
I think that would apply more to homegrown Italian players as opposed to foreign ones particularly someone like Pjanic.
As for Nainggolan,he always seems like a guy who is keen to prove a point and very outspoken. He might stay for the time being because his family is settled in Rome but just like every other footballer, its very unlikely he would stay put if an obscene offer arrives which is a possibility imo.

Loris Karius is just 22, and he's been Mainz' Nr.1 since 2013. This season he was considered one of the top keepers in the Bundesliga, performance-wise.RealGunner wrote:@rwo power
He will probably have no big problems to adjust to English football as he belonged to ManCity's youth teams from 2009 to 2011 from where he went to Mainz. (A bit similar to Ron-Robert Zieler who was educated at ManUtd's academy, but went to Hannover from there due to lack of chances to impress.)
Oh, and the last two seasons, he held 6 of 12 penalties that were shot against him. I think I remember that in the Mainz forum there was a saying "Chuck Loris saves penalties even in the dark" XD

Lukaku :
“In my head I know where I want to go but I’m keeping that to myself,” he said.
“You will know when it is concluded. I have to make a good choice but in my head that has happened already.
I have played [in England] for five years now, it’s my league. But there are other nice clubs. I follow Spanish and German football and I also have something for the Italian league.
“Wherever I go I want to win prizes,” he added. “During Leicester’s title ceremony I was standing just 10 metres from the trophy. I just stared at it for two minutes, forgetting to get on with the warm-up. I thought to myself, I want that.”

Re: 2016/17 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. I
Pjanic has been rather coy about joining Juve. It's not as far-fetched as it seems. I personally don't like it as we're strengthening Juve when we don't need to be. The Bayern-Dortmund dynamic...to an extent.
Would much prefer we sell him abroad. Anywhere, but another Serie A club.
As for Nainggolan, I believe him when he says he wouldn't join Juve willingly, but ultimately the club have the final say on that. I just think that means he'd go kicking and screaming. But he'd go nonetheless. I'm under no illusions about that.

Navas is far better, he has been meh since his return to England IMO + Navas is still only 29? he has years at the top left, why would you be going for Courtois? because Navas isn't a glamorous name? smh
good though, DDG stays

he certainly isn't far from that. there is no reason to buy another GK, Keylor has been flawless this season. he doesn't get the recognition he deserves because of his nationality.

Kloppo is used to work on a tight budget from Mainz and Dortmund, so he will certainly not overpay if it is not absolutely necessary ^^
