Genoa > AC Milan
Sassuolo & Udinese > Juventus
From Udinese in recent years: Asamoah, Pereyra, Isla, Iaquinta, Pepe, Motta, Manninger, etc.
Sassuolo has become our testing ground for young players with Zaza, Berardi, Trotta, Sensi, etc.

Every team in Italy > Juventus is more apt imo

Defenders bloom older so I'll take some liberties with "young" talent
Rugani (CB) and Alex Sandro (LB) at Juve are certainties, sure to be great.
Milan has a good number of young defenders with De Sciglio (RB/LB), Romagnoli (CB) and Calabria (RB). Ely (CB) has been hyped but he is injured and hasn't featured for a while.
Napoli has young defense with really good potential. Koulibaly has been one of the best CBs this season. Hysaj (RB) and Ghoulam (LB) are really solid.
Roma has Rudiger (CB) and Manolas (CB) plus Digne (LB) and Florenzi (RB) who are all pretty young. I think Florenzi is the oldest at like 25.
Torino has one of the best upcoming fullbacks with Zappacosta (RB) he is behind Bruno Peres who is great but now 26.
The rest are mixed in all the other teams.

Sassuolo's defense is the most veteran part of the team except for Vrsaljko (RB) who is attracting a lot of attention. Udinese had a poor year so I didn't follow them much besides Widmer (RB) cause he is linked with Juve.

Re: 2016/17 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. I
Empoli are basically all young players. Saponara(AM), Zielinski(CM, owned by Udinese) and Tonelli(CB) are all legit and almost surely gone this summer.
Paredes(CM) is definitely legit but owned by Roma so he is going back.
Bologna's Diawara and Donsah (CMs) are gonna be big pick ups but may stay longer since they are only 18 and 19 and starting every game in Serie A. Diawara is no doubt gonna be a beast.

According to GDM, Simeone has requested Cavani
Would be a perfect fit, considering what he demands from his forwards, Cavani defensive workrate is astonishing for a striker. Think he'll do well if he goes to Atleti

Apart from Di Marzio and Agresti who are the most reliable Italian reporters?

If Galaxy don't win MLS Cup with Gerrard, Ibra, Gio, Keane, Ashley Cole, Nigel De Jong, and Zardes

If Ibra joins LA, it'll be to replace one of the current big names. They quite literally cannot sign him currently as all of their Designated Player slots AND all of their International Slots are full.Don't call me James wrote:If Galaxy don't win MLS Cup with Gerrard, Ibra, Gio, Keane, Ashley Cole, Nigel De Jong, and Zardes
Reports indicate(d) that De Jong joined as a non-DP on the condition that he takes up Gerrard's spot when Steven's contract ends and he leaves (end of this season).

If they do well in the postseason, then it should end around November.
EDIT: More to the point, Gerrard's contract runs until the end of 2016.

Those are great names... who are old and don't have good fitness levels at this point in most cases. Even if the MLS is not a top league, you still need guys who can run.
I'm also not convinced that big names like that are all that motivated to play in MLS. Just doing it for the money.

that's why you sign GOAT's like Giovinco who lead you to playoffs and win MVP of the league
but good luck Ibra in your retirement

Well you're right in some cases. Gerrard has definitely looked like a player lacking the stamina and pace to regularly compete since joining but Cole and Keane have both been quite good in their times at the club (Keane, of course, being a lot longer-serving currently). Hard to judge de Jong as he's already been suspended for a bit after a typical de Jong challenge early on in the season.

I would much rather see MLS investing heavily in youth development then these pseudo star signings... they should pay to get the best kids out of South America.
