Re: 2016/17 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. I
Why is he overrated lol? he was the best midfielder in Europe the year they got the final, that isn't really something which is debatable.
This has been his first full season since getting over his injuries and while i personally haven't watched lots of games. I haven't seen anyone say that anyone has gotten on top of Dortmund's midfield and i know what this place is like it wouldn't take much for someone to talk shit.

Why would he struggle in England? Fabregas seems to do more than okay there and frankly Gundo is pretty much better than Cesc.

Re: 2016/17 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. I
Pep can get the best out of him. If Pellegrini was the manager then I wouldnt be worried him going to city. He already is a great player and for the price quoted could be the deal of the window easily.
But their real problem is their defense. And they until now have had a terrible record at buying defenders. Hopefully it will continue.
Now that Laporte is injured hope they will go all out and cash on Stones. He isnt that good tbh. But then again the same rule is applicable. They can easily improve, the likes of Stones (if they sign him), Mangala and all as they are quite young.

I can see why Arsenal would be interested in Mkhitaryan if Ozil is let go

Ozil would be sweet, didn't think he could be an option .
The Benitez-Insigne rumour sounds completely invalid. Napoli wouldn't sell, Insigne wouldn't force a move to newcastle, and Benitez actually started playing Mertens more and more over Insigne.

So what's the deal here? I mean who pays who. I can imagine Manu paying that sum to get rid of Valdes

Lloris stays with Tottenham for like 4 years without CL and the first year they'll get it he leaves? Not buying it.
Which is why I assume Tottenham would attempt to get Valdes for that fee. Otherwise it doesn't make sense. Lloris and Vorm are at Tottenham and that's already a better goalkeeper/goalkeeper back up than most clubs have. Vorm is a decent keeper and Lloris is among the best.
Not buying it. Especially for that price

Valdes is 34 and playing in the frigging Belgian league, there's no club in the Premier League who would be offering him a contract yet alone pay a transfer fee. Would be a big financial and sporting risk, United already took it two years ago and see how well that went.

Not to mention there is no way in hell discussions for transfers will even take place until we know we are staying up lol.

I think Lacazette would be a great signing for us but lots of clubs will be interested so I don't think we have much chanceGlory wrote:PSGFrench giants Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly preparing a whooping £115 million bid for Brazilian sensation Neymar as reported by French newspaper L’Equipe

Sounds like we are setting up a long term friend to keep Neymar company with Alves, Douglas and Adriano all likely leaving sooner rather or later.

Looks a bit too old to play for them. I suppose that's what you get when you hire a Serie A manager.
