Is HBA Ben Arfa? Has he figured out his problems or whatever it was that held him back?

Yeah he's been really good in Nice this year. He was good for us as well but we *bleep* him about sadly.

According to Spanish site OKdiario, the Merengues have a plan to make a huge profit on Morata by getting him back from Juve and immediately selling him on to Arsenal.
The operation would cost in the region of €65m (£50m) between transfer fee and wages.

Can't see it
If we are spending 50m then might as well bid for Higuain

Would be great banter if Arsene agrees to the deal then backs out in the last minute.

Liverpool again been linked with mario gotze. firmino coutinho and gotze would make a good front 3
Bayern Munich's Mario Gotze has fuelled speculation over a summer move to Liverpool after refusing to rule out the possibility in a post-match interview with Sky in Germany.
The German international played under current Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp at Borussia Dortmund and asked whether he could be reunited with his former coach, Gotze replied: "You should ask Jurgen."

Real Madrid are ready to offer James Rodriguez in sensational swap deal for Chelsea’s Eden Hazard
Sounds to me like The Sun need to stop playing fifa, but the reason I am posting this is because it would be one of the biggest deals in history if it happened.
http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/7000556/Real-Madrid-are-ready-to-offer-James-Rodriguez-in-sensational-swap-deal-for-Chelseas-Eden-Hazard.htmlREAL MADRID could offer Chelsea a sensational swap deal to sign Eden Hazard in exchange for James Rodriguez.
Sunsport understands the Spanish giants are considering making this offer after the £70million Colombia superstar’s poor season.
Real believe James, 24, would still command a huge transfer fee despite his lacklustre performances this season.
Hazard, 25, has also suffered from miserable form this season at Chelsea and fell out with Jose Mourinho at the start of the season after being dropped.
His performances have not picked up even after Mourinho was replaced by Guus Hiddink.
It is believed he may seek a move to the Bernabeu or Paris St Germain this summer.
Real will target Hazard as Sunsport told you exclusively back in January.
The Spanish giants' boss Zinedine Zidane is a huge admirer and Hazard has admitted Zizou is his big idol.
James was a Chelsea target before he joined Madrid in a megabucks deal with Monaco 18 months ago after shining in the 2014 World Cup with Colombia.
Given both clubs have reasons to be disappointed with their respective stars Madrid officials believe it could be a deal that suits everyone.
Both Hazard and James would get the chance to start afresh at another big club.
Chelsea have let it be known they would not entertain offers for Hazard, a star they value at well over £100m.
But Real Madrid would never match that valuation as they believe a swap with James who cost £70m would represent good business for Chelsea too.
The Blues paid £34m to buy Hazard from Lille back in 2012.
Sounds to me like The Sun need to stop playing fifa, but the reason I am posting this is because it would be one of the biggest deals in history if it happened.

What are the chances of Bayern selling Gotze this summer?
After coming back from injury a few weeks ago, he's been on the bench hard core. I think Werder was his first game since being back for close to a month now.
He's behind a lot of players.

if Liverpool push the boat out I think we can get him. he knows and likes klopp. he don't get a look in at Bayern. at Liverpool he would be loved I would take a front 3 of firmino. coutinho and gotze for the start of next seasonDon't call me James wrote:What are the chances of Bayern selling Gotze this summer?

What's the fascination with Gotze? he is not going to turn you into a better team. You already have Coutinho and firmino who are naturally good in a central position and you want to add another one that plays in the same zones? loool
signing someone like Draxler would yield much greater value than signing Gotze, i.e wide attacker with pace dribbling goalscoring etc...

its so tiring to hear liverpool fans talk up this storm about how klopp is going to attract (insert dortmund/german player) players because he has some special connection with them
Gotze going from champions league team to europa? lol especially when other epl teams have tried getting gotze as-well

well he is not playing at the moment. his contract is running down. it don't look like Bayern are going to renew it. the top champions lge clubs are not going mad for him. and him and klopp have worked well together. so if Liverpool will pay the money I don't see why we don't have a chance tbh.Donuts wrote:its so tiring to hear liverpool fans talk up this storm about how klopp is going to attract (insert dortmund/german player) players because he has some special connection with them

WE already play with 3 AMs with Lallana being the 3rd and honestly it's worked amazingly when they've all been on the pitch with a CF in front of tehm. Lallana is not that great of a player so why not improve on him specially if a special player like Gotze would be willing to come.

Very, very high. At this point I'd be surprised if he isn't sold.

Re: 2016/17 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. I
Coutinho - Firmino - Gotze lacks pace and withd, HOWEVER, signing Gotze would definitely make sense for Liverpool because Coutinho and Sturridge are almost all the time injured, so between the 3 they can cover one position. Then this looks much better:
Coutinho/Gotze Origi/Firmino Sturridge (Cout/Gotze)

Re: 2016/17 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. I
Well Coutinho-Firmino-Lallana also lacks pace and width but it hasn't been a problem in terms of creating chances or scoring goals so far when we've actually been able to field Sturridge or Origi with them. Origi and Sturridge provide ample pace in behind and both of them are skilled enough technically to swap around tactically with Firmino who is more of a forward himself than an AM. Most of our additional width comes from Clyne and Moreno anyway.
Markovic will be back next season as well. He provides both pace and width as well as Ibe. We've spent 20m on him and there's definitely a 20m player in there. Rodgers *bleep* up Lazar's development but I feel Klopp would love a player of his qualities. He's a very good pass and move high energy player. His weakness is mentality. He's kind of a pussy but I think Klopp can get him to his potential.
We can't rely on Sturridge because he will definitely be injured again next season. So we need a striker especially since both Benteke and Balotelli will be off the books.
Our main weakness is CM area. Hendo (post injury) and Milner are awful. Can is still learning the trade, while he has upside in the long run he's very inconsistent and inexperienced. Allen, while he's looked better, recently seems like Klopp doesn't favor him much when everyone else is fit. Lucas is another one who is on borrowed time seemingly.

Dont Juve want Götze?
Unless Bayern put a huge price tag on him that would make them turn their attention to Oscar there is no way he would choose Liverpool over Juve

We do. If we continue to push for an AM he should again be no. 1 pick. I guess Klopp or a crazy high fee could make him go to liverpool, but otherwise we should be in for him.
If Morata leaves there should be no excuse. And we can offer league and CL title runs.
