And stop bragging about reaching champions league finals, that's just sad. Only winning it counts.
This also.

Re: Neymar's Dad: United have offered to activate Neymar's 190m € transfer clause
My comment is more like a fact, in the past two years, you have been the most overhyped team in europe, promised to win it all with pep and champagne football, yet when it came down to it, both Madrid and Barca wiped you out in semis. It was more like an humiliation than a defeat. the best coach pep, the best euro player robben, the smartest captain in europe lham, the best left back alaba, the best german muller, the best cb boateng, the best cf lewandowski, the best doctor, the best board, the best executive in jail. they couldnt do shit but bend over and take it.

Well tbf Madrid are no different in that aspect except we've been hearing about them for close to a decade now.

Bit rich coming from supporters of a club that, despite of constant mindless grandstanding and proclamations, has exactly ONE CL final appearance in more than a decade.
We're better than you on every level, except media hype and wasting money.
Both RM and Bayern won 1 CL each in the last decade.

You people are like 12 year olds watching a rap battle
Nick's post was absolute nonsense but because he threw in a few digs and insulted Chelsea everyone's going nuts.
Do you not understand what every level means? He's talking about youth system, board, finances, etc. Playing is just one of those levels. How are you disputing that Bayern is a better run club than you? Bayern is probably the best run football club in the world, their financial management is miles better than anyone else. Madrid is run by a spoiled child who throws money at anything that doesn't go his way. Madrid's (very minimal) success over the past few years has been in spite of their horrible mismanagement, not because of it.
As for the playing level, I've never seen fans so disproportionately arrogant relevant to their success. You've won three league titles in the past decade
That's quite frankly pathetic for a club who's fans are always demanding titles and success and insisting they're the best club in the world. The last half decent team you played smashed you 4-0 without their best player. Please stop.

Re: Neymar's Dad: United have offered to activate Neymar's 190m € transfer clause
How exactly is that delusional? Bayern is not above and beyond Madrid, they went to two semis and lost both of them to Spanish opposition and during those two years, Bayern have been proclaimed the best team in Europe to go and lose in the semis. One of which was an aggregate Manita against a team Hans considers inferior to his.
Those are facts and I just have a ridiculous feeling a lot of you would be eating humble pie come May, Nick included. Please put excuses in point form, easier to read.

Re: Neymar's Dad: United have offered to activate Neymar's 190m € transfer clause
What are you talking about?
We're talking about on pitch productivity here dude. The clubs administration is basically non existent in this context/argument.
You even seem to generally agree that barca are the best team in the world right now, so does that make barca a better run club than bayern? And by your logic, corinthians are better than madrid too?
I doubt club administration is what people talk about when they brag about best clubs in the world.. Hell, I could care less bout what my club does at the back as long as they bring home dem shiny cups

Re: Neymar's Dad: United have offered to activate Neymar's 190m € transfer clause
What in god's name are you talking about? He said Bayern are better than Real Madrid on every level which includes success. Since the only common competition that includes the two is the CL, he brought it up...and that was a grave mistake because Real Madrid have won more than Bayern since 2000 and as many in the last decade. So he only used the only thing that Bayern has more than Real Madrid which is the number of CL final appearances as an argument. Let me repeat it again, he counted reaching the final as a trophy. Let that sink for a second.Cruijf wrote:You people are like 12 year olds watching a rap battle

He's not counting the CL final as a trophy, he's using it as a measure of how good they've been in Europe. Bayern reached what, 3 finals in four years? Real were perennial R16 chokers before reaching one final where they were two minutes away from losing to bunch of thugs. They then promptly resumed their previous trend of playing like shit.
If you only look at the CL over the last five years, Bayern has been far better than Real. And you're still not addressing how he was clearly referring too all levels of the organization. Are you gonna dispute that Bayern is a better run club?

Re: Neymar's Dad: United have offered to activate Neymar's 190m € transfer clause
Difference is, we don't need to reach three finals to win one.Cruijf wrote:He's not counting the CL final as a trophy, he's using it as a measure of how good they've been in Europe.
Untrue. Real Madrid had reached three semi-finals before reaching that final, and they brushed aside the same very team you're claiming is better in the process.Bayern reached what, 3 finals in four years? Real were perennial R16 chokers before reaching one final where they were two minutes away from losing to bunch of thugs.
Again untrue. They played some of the best football in Europe, if not the best in their record 22 winning streak before succumbing to injuries. They then promptly resumed their previous trend of playing like shit.
Really? Let's look at the facts. In the five years you're referring to, we played twice in the CL. One had to go to penalties and the other was a whopping demolition. If you only look at the CL over the last five years, Bayern has been far better than Real.
Are you gonna dispute that Bayern is a better run club?
Nobody is disputing that. But you're the only bringing it up. Still, we have some consolation facts, 12-time richest club in the world, and the current most valuable club in the world, and the club with the highest revenues in world football.
