Napoli look like they are on another level. We can't even string 2-3 passes together. Lucky goal aside we have been awful.

What a shit club, the mentality on some of these players , moaning, whining at every decision, Sarri sent off for the same reason. Jorginho is a little c*nt, him and his insuranceless braces. Reacts like someone just stole his parking spot at every decision
Don't get me started on Higuain
If it weren't for their fluke deflected goal
They won't win Serie A within the next 10+ years

Meh they had a lot of possession but aside from a few instances Milan defended pretty comfortably I'd say.

I felt Napoli 'd have bottled certain moments.
Napoli to win the Scudetto is a beautiful story , definitely, but tbf just a Milanese team can take away the Scudetto to Juventus a day.
Unlikely there is space for fables in Serie A.

Cristian Zapata enjoyed his battle with Napoli and Gonzalo Higuain. “When I’m concentrated, nobody can get past me.”

Did he elaborate on why he uses his concentration once every two years?

Apparently (according to reports) Thohir wants the first round of Serie A every season to be played abroad, with every game in a different city to publicize the league.
Sounds interesting, but also weird.

It's an interesting idea and I understand the logic, but I'm personally against it. Players do enough stupid travelling across the world in preseason, the last thing we need is more. And I can already imagine problems with stadiums, pitches, training facilities, etc.

Yeah I don't know if I'm for it, but its good to have presidents like Thohir that at least look for ways to improve things in most aspects.

Agreed, also at least in my eyes it seems like Thohir is rushing a bit. Campionato should try to solve the basic issues first like violence and outdated stadiums before they move to the next step like the one suggested by Thohir. For as long as the issues I mentioned above are plaguing the league, I cannot see Serie A becoming popular again no matter how much marketing they do.

I can't see Palermo-Empoli drawing a big crowd in non-Italian cities... or even Italian ones for that matter

Re: The 2015/2016 Calcio Saga III
If Thohir wants the league marketed around , he should do his bit and make Inter exciting again , maybe bring in a star player or two . That would do much more than playing in front of a half empty White Hart Lane to publicize the league , but that would also cost him more than plane tickets i guess .
The only way this could work as intended , is if you masquerade it for something else . Don't make it so ridiculously blatant this is plastic , only to make money . Make it something grander , like some fair play thing , or about UEFA's Respect campaign , probably this . This could maybe work with the PL clubs coming over to play the fixture in Italy and Serie A to play the same day in England and donate all the earnings generated in the exchange-fixture for a good philanthropic cause , maybe to help the refugees idk .
Can't see any other way PL folks would turn up for Udinese-Genoa , or the kind .
I understand a fixture through the PL avenue will instantly be massive exposure for Serie A , yet i fail to see why the PL would agree to make money for Italian clubs , what's in it for them ? Why should a West Ham fan pay to watch Palermo-Sassuolo or some shit ? Leave aside how he wants to deny critically important earnings from tickets for every Serie A club , it's not like the PL clubs will donate the earnings from the fixture played in England to the Serie A clubs .
Thohir maybe thinks this is smart , and the end-game maybe is good for Serie A , but the means of it is as plastic as it gets . You either do this properly , give it at least some meaning and some incentive , make it so there is something to be had for everyone and then maybe it could achieve it's purpose in giving Serie A a push toward the intended goal.
Or Thohir could take his team and go amuse the PL fans with how interesting Mancio's side is , sure it will earn Serie A some viewers , players like Kondogbia will entertain the British folk and the viewers over the world. Who doesn't like a good comedy ?

In a different city? That would mean 2 lost days in terms of travelling and training, plus players would move so often and be so tired, it would be a huge blow for the Serie A teams and they finally pulled their shit together (when UEFA coefficients) are in question

Yeah man I don't think playing the first game of the season abroad will have a deep impact on the coefficients
