Well, Joe Hart is probably the best keeper England currently have, although Jack Butland is already sawing at his chair, to use a German figure of speech.

Five keepers I personally consider better than him at the moment? Manuel Neuer of course, Gigi Buffon (he is still absolutely amazing), Kevin Trapp (if he doesn't get a German NT call up, I'll get ballistic), David de Gea (he was really impressive lately), and Claudio Bravo (as much as it pains me for MAtS).

As a matter of fact, I would even prefer Yann Sommer to Joe Hart as Sommer's distribution is absolutely great and he can as well be used as an 11th field player as Manuel Neuer (and Gladbach actually do that with great effect).

Hart is underrated in general but he's not top 5 lol.

He's definitely better than Mignolet though lol and City's team is miles better than Liverpool so City could probably get away with a goalkeeper of Mignolet standard and be successful more than Liverpool can.

He's not top 5 in the world.

He is not world class.

He isnt even top 5 in pl let alone world.

De gea,curtois,cech,Adrian and Hugo lloris all are better.

He had one world class season in his second season but that's it. Currently his GK is bang midtable.

Mignolet is relegation standard , he should not be used as a scale for top keepers imo.

I will add Keylor Navas to these lists

kevin trapp is an absolute joke for joke this season, makes so many mistakes and doesnt at all reassure his defensive line. Not sure how he is making your list Rwo. There is no evidence he is better than Joe Hart, none whatsoever

If top class comes after world class, I'd say Hart is top class. On a good day he can be world class, but he's not always having a good day between the sticks.

Neuer, De Gea, Courtois, Keylor, Cech, Buffon, Lloris and Bravo are the best at the moment. He's not world-class and certainly not top 10 as besides the ones mentioned above there are others such as Oblak who are better.

And dang.. Lloris is as overhyped as ever here.

I think English media have actually overhyped Hart. He's just a decent solid GK.

Neuer, Cech, Keylor, DDG, Buffon all definitely better than him.

I don't rate Courtois that high and I'd still take him over Hart as well. As would I Lloris.

decent but not WC, wouldn't get hyped if he was Irish or something. Doesn't even have a standout season on par with the likes of Howard ( pre this season) Vorm (Swansea days) or Begovic (Stoke days) during his career. Would be good at the likes of Pool, actually. Solid mid table keeper IMO.

All nonsense, I don't even rate him that highly but he's better than those keepers and has substantially better seasons than all of them.

I think he's genuinely overrated by the general public but on here he's definitely underrated reading some of these comments.

Admittedly, I haven't seen every PSG match, but in the matches I did watch, Kevin Trapp was really great. Could you point me to his mistakes this season?

just watch a bit more of psg, i dont know how i can show this. My observation is that he is still struggling to perform, because he will make that one mistake like he did vs madrid in some games and cost his team a goal. He spills balls on long shoats like he has no control over the ball (Bastia). His game against Lyon was horrendous.

There is still a lot of work to do for him to even be put in the lists i see above here

Are you serious? Do you know how dominant PSG are in their league? and how good a team they are in general? PSG is a team that will dominate 70% the ball in their games, it's absolutely useless to use statistics to justify how good he is. He has been poor and very average. Had some highs, but some repeated mistakes that are to obvious to ignore.

Which is why least shot faced GK getting the best GK tag can be decieving.

Probably fifth best in EPL after Lloris, Courtois, Cech, and De Gea. That being said, Butland isn't really at all far behind him.

Then when you look around the world, Neuer and Buffon are both better and Bravo and Navas both have fair arguments that they may also be better

Also just because I saw arguments against it, Howard in his prime is definitely right around if not better than Hart at the moment.

Definitely. You would think he is lucky to be playing for Man City when in fact he is a perfect fit and overall has done a fine job in his Man City career.

Good GK that got overhyped by English media then suffered a massive dip in form.
