Re: FIFA Club World Cup
Don't you guys think that Clubs give too much importance to this trophy? Last year Madrid arrived at the CWC in top form, and afterwards they crumbled. It seemed like they prepared too much for this. We don't seem to have scheduled everything for the CWC, but I still think we give it too much importance.
If I was coach, I would instruct my physical coaches to ignore the CWC alltogether in their plans, as it was a friendly to arrive in top form at the end of the season.
Perhaps they used to be, not anymore. I was in Japan this summer and they've become much less kind.

Re: FIFA Club World Cup
CWC is huge thing in SA and people consider it only below WC so its not some scrub tournament in Qatar imo. We should take it very seriously and give it due respect.

Re: FIFA Club World Cup
In South America.... maybe.
For me it's just above the Super Cups and below Copa del Rey.
I would happily get to the CWC every season and lose it 5-0.
I don't want us to mortgage our season to win the CWC, as Madrid di last season.

Have you ever been to Japan actually?
I've seen a white man, with his Yamato girlfriend, outright refused to be served in Restaurants. This wasn't the backwoods either, but in Shinigawa in the greater tokyo metropolitan area. Would you see this in Western Europe?
In fact, even in tourist areas you will see signs that outright say no foreigners. This is clear racism because I am a foreigner and have never been denied entry, while I have seen people who actually live there actually be refused in many places. Difference between me and them? I am of Yamato descent and the others were not. I bet I would not have been allowed in such places if I were in American of RyuKuan descent. This is a simple fact.

Didn't this happen in France, when the manager of Zara or something put out a sign saying no hijabi or something? All though I believe he did get fired.
There is good and bad people in every country.
On topic. I won't get to see these game they're going to be early, but don't think there is much importance to it.

I agree completely. The CWC is a Mickey Mouse trophy. Personally would rather we play the B team and not even take the first team to Japan. Have the first team train in Barcelona and let the B team fight it out for the trophy. We have much more important trophies to fight for.

Would be some straight humiliating shit if we don't walk these next 2 games.
The players should always respect and defend out shirt.

One of them should come off bench imo. No need to risk both considering the form in Suarez is

Re: FIFA Club World Cup
Agree. I'd save Neymar as he suffered a muscle injury.
If Messi feels ok then theres no reason why he wouldnt start.

Hiroshima out played the hell out of them in the semis. This River side doesn't look like any form of a threat to us

Re: FIFA Club World Cup
most important thing is not to get complacent again and finish off the game when the chance arises like against guanzghou (?)
hope the game is as good as against santos in 2011
