Yeah every scrub that joins Bayern, Barca, Madrid all of a sudden turn into goats even though they wouldn't start for majority of other clubs. World class players Vidal and Lewandowski of course. But when you sign scrubs like Bernat, stfu.
just stop.
That's the best you got. Asking me to stop. Does it pain you that someone doesn't rate some scrubby squad player at Bayern.
I'm not just asking, I'm imploring you to stop embarrassing yourself. It's painful.

The only thing that's painful is watching your delusion about Bernat.

What delusion?
We won the league by mile, made Cl semi, played great football, with Bernat starting and being one of the most consistent performers.
Would he have started every game with all our injured players aboard? Probably not.
Would one of Moreno/Lazar Markovic/Raheen Sterling at left wingback have had top form Messi firmly in their pockets?
But of course.
You're a nice, smart guy Hames. Just stop. You don't have to keep being an idiot poster. You can just stop.

Re: Bernat and other Bayern Transfers revisited
Winning the Bundi isn't really a measuring stick for Bayern lol. It's like saying PSG is elite for winning Ligue 1. It's an achievement... but it's like winning Europa really.
Until Bernat proves he's legit in the CL, then he's not legit on an elite level. It would be different if Bayern were playing in EPL and La Liga where you have multiple elite level teams in the same tournament.

Is that your new approach to arguing in the forum? When someone doesn't agree with your opinion, asking them to stop I'm sure its been unsuccessfully tried in the past.

Re: Bernat and other Bayern Transfers revisited
This is not an argument. A sentence like 'Bernat wouldn't start for Liverpool' is embarrassingly stupid, and I advised you to stop posting such embarrassingly stupid sentences.
You decided not to take that advice, nothing I can do.

Bernat and other Bayern Transfers revisited
Bernat became a starting LB for Valencia and now Bayern. Either he is really good at other things that the oldest profession on earth can relate to or he could play football well enough. I would like to think the latter. Anyway...

Re: Bernat and other Bayern Transfers revisited
Who even cares if Bernat is good or not?
Surely the question is about if he was a good signing for Bayern.
And he clearly was. He gives them great width and strikes a good balance between attack and defence.
If he didnt give Bayern what they wanted, he obviously wouldnt have played so much.

Bernat could probably start at 3 different positions for Liverpool.

Bernat is Coleman v2. A winger stuck at LB.

Re: Bernat and other Bayern Transfers revisited
Doesnt matter about Bernat starting for Liverpool or not but who the *bleep* are Kimmich and Gaudinho lol, Just because Team A is > Team B doesn't mean Team A 22nd player would be in the starting eleven for Team B. Utterly useless arguments going on this thread.

Re: Bernat and other Bayern Transfers revisited
Can is a good player but I think people are going a bit overboard with him. He still looks very raw, and I don't think he should be starting every game. The people that were propping him up over Henderson is just mind bending. The Germany call-up is a bit surprising tbh.
But that's a bit off-topic. Like I've said before...every club makes good and bad transfers. Bigger clubs have the luxury of bringing in proven talent (like Bayern) so they have a better chance of not missing, but it still happens quite often. Bernat has done just fine given the success and contributions he's had and given at Bayern...
