Who will proceed to the Last 16?
Re: Champions League 2015/16 | Group A
Considering our injury record and psg having everyone availablle i was pretty surprised at how awfully little they created. I can only remember them having 3 shots for which 2 were off target. If i am Blanc i would get worried right now

Re: Champions League 2015/16 | Group A
Thought Ibra and Cavani got owned by Varane and Ramos respectively. Ibra coming too deep created DMzema situation which made real Madrid CBs pretty comfortable. PSG hardly created anything and they were vulnerable at the center back position as well. Their FBs were otherwise great and shut down our wingers. Their midfield seemed happy to have the ball but barely made anything noteworthy on the other half. Kroos with a great game.. Controlled the game for Real Madrid and lead the pressing game. Casemiro with this form is going to give huge selection head ache for Rafact.
Re: Champions League 2015/16 | Group A
Verratti as usually vs. strong teams was bad, worse midfielder on the pitch. Utterly dominated by a Madrid midfield composed of Casemiro and Lucas Vazquez. Made one of his trademark unnecessary rash tackles that costed him a yellow and could have easily been sent off for his constant complaining.
Didn't create shit but at least he didn't lose the ball in front of PSG as usual. Lacks maturity. Oh, and he dribled past two players in one play, which will be enough for his lovers to say he played well.
On FLOPSG, they suck balls. Cavani, Di Maria, and Motta miss so many easy passes it's not funny. Ibra is useless against any decent team. Their defensive setup loses shape way too easily allowing chaos and penetration. Their attack only resource is to cross.

Re: Champions League 2015/16 | Group A
I agree Veratti wasnt very good but he did well to get out of pressure alot. Matuidi and Motta were constantly caught dwelling on the ball and any forward passes they made were continusly passed back to them and they had to start over. Veratti shouldve had a red card after tackling Casemiro with his studs up so he needs to calm down in that regard. Thought ADM kept losing posession all the time and made Marcelos life very easy by cutting in on his left. On the other side Cavani was totally anonymous, only when Pastore came in did anything happen on their left side
Regarding Madrid, i thought was too deep on some occasions which made it hard to have alot of players forward during counters. On occassions there was literally only Ronaldo in their half and everyone else in our half especially when Modric came in which disruped our pressuring high up the pitch spearheaded by Kroos. That Lucas/Danilo side was so non existent Ronaldo had to go there to make things happen. I literally can not wait for James/Carvajal to come back

I'm normally not so much a fan of Omar Momani's drawing style, but this cartoon of his really cracked me up:

Casemiro and Kroos can take it from the left side too. Ronaldo's form is woeful. I remember Casemiro scoring some for Porto.

I don't think it would be too far fetched to say that EVERY other starter for Real would take better free kicks than Ronaldo, from anywhere. Ramos? Marcelo? Carvajal? Benzema? Why the heck not.
It really is a gift that keeps on giving.

Re: Champions League 2015/16 | Group A
No lol
To be fair messi has kind of same free kick ratio as well.
Something like 3 in 87 or something and I don't see anyone complaining about it . He hits target? What good is if you chip it over the wall only for the GK to make a routine save ?

Don't think Messi's ratio is as bad as Ronaldo's, and most of all I'm certain Messi doesn't take direct free kicks from positions where you're supposed to lay it into the box etc.
Ronaldo directly skies free kicks from 35 meters on the side while the rest of his team is lined up in the box ffs.
No, no, no. Don't try.
Ronaldo is the embarrasingly worst free kick taker in world football, hands down.

I think CR7 gets more stick than Messi for his ridiculous antics and posing before taking the freekick that he then miserably misses.

Re: Champions League 2015/16 | Group A
Without a doubt one of the lowest points in Bayern's history.
Anyway, if Ronaldo didn't do that hilarious freekick stance routine with his legs apart as if he's about to receive invisible standing doggystlye sex it would be just bad but not comically bad.
Edit: Yeah, rwo beat me to it.

Said it many times before.
Just can't wrap my head around it.
A team full of really competent free kick takers, yet this ongoing Ronaldo farce.
Can only explain it with it being written in his contract.

haps cr knows that scoring goals, is the only thing that keeps him relevant, when you do nothing else you need all the chances you can get, even if it hurts the team and no tropies in the long run... do golden boots counts?

Rubbish, just so much rubbish in that one post from you but it is to be expected. A sheep trying to be a lone wolf that keeps braying like a donkey. And you just had to be a Madrid "fan".
