Re: Argentina going home...
Uruguay was in much better physical shape. Pretty poor conditioning for Argentina. Shocking actually, they were a man up for 40 minutes.
Tevez was dreadful, not just the penalty, but it looked like his job tonight was to be in the wrong position and try and get in his teammates way. HE is a black hole.

hands down? it was dumb luck, the tevez free kick bounced off the wall and hit him, Tevez's penalty was soft and easily saveableSt_Nick09_of_Goal wrote:yeah, u jelly, muslera didnt look like it, he was clearly, hands down, man of the match, LOLLionel Messi wrote:Nope, not jelly. lol what ever makes you sleep at night. Messi won't even be in the top 5 players of the game. Ofc most of the list will consist of Uruguay's defense + Muslera.
I don't think Messi played bad by any means, in fact he did a good job, and created a good goal. However, without the Barca team, he is just another player in the argentinian team.

Re: Argentina going home...
Is Vibe talking about Diego Milito? He rarely does well for them. Also, watching Sport 3 via streaming, Gus Poyet (great player) is really trying his best to keep a professional stance.
Give him a chance he'll run naked screaming right now...

Re: Argentina going home...
Argentina should have killed it the first half; Uruguay owned them the second half and deserved to win.
Argentina's attack was non-existent second half, and could have been better in the extra time. NEVER should have taken off Di Maria, he can kill it in extra time. Aguero was shit though, today. Higuain was decent, Messi brilliant first half, after that, not so much.
OH HOW GLORIOUS.

Re: Argentina going home...
Higuain is unfit and a big match flop.Milito had to play...He had a bad season but at least he had one.Higuain was out for the most of it...Milito is a proven world class striker,he could crap put a masterpiece at any random moment no matter how bad he plays.Crimson wrote:VibeTribe wrote:That is what you get for keeping Milito and Cambiasso on the bench, awarding Mascherano to be the captain ahead of Zanetti.Who knew of all people Batista would make Maradonaesque mistakes.
Milito did play
But the other Milito does not deserve to ever step on the field for Argentina again imo, he's worse than Tevez when it comes to his national team.
Cambiasso can be argued on the other hand.....

If that makes you happier in your grief, think that.
But Uruguay was MUCH better than Argentina in the second half.

Did Uruguay got a man sent off? Check
Did Uruguay hit the posts few times? Check
Did Uruguay play in Argentina's home? Check
Yes, Uruguay were extremely lucky to win. I mean how dare they deny Messi from scoring a goal, and not letting Argentina breeze pass them?

I agree. Biglia was not really required! But Aguero should have stayed on. He has more quality that Tevez!
