Seems pretty good aside Lovren. Where do you disappear??? I never see you on regular basis.

Yea. Would have also loved to see firmino start, but I guess he is not your ready, just like suarez came off the bench on his debut.
Yea, I've been very busy with med school, recently finished though so I will be posting more often. But I read every post here though, you guys have been my football.

Lovren starting and Sakho not even on the bench. Is he injured? Ffs if Rodgers is driving Sakho out. Also not sure starting Gomez is a good idea.

A very attacking line-up from us, let's see if it works.

Damn, so close. Gomez in over Moreno, otherwise it's this! Love it. Very positive line-up and plays to our strengths. Expect Firmino to come in later on.

Oh boy offensively we did absolutely NOTHING. I was so afraid of us using Benteke as a lump. And that's exactly what we've done in the first half. We're hoofing to him sooooo much. ffs calm down a bit, play it on the ground. It's nice that Benteke is winning everything in the air but we need to chill with the hoofing ffs.

Gomez playing well.

I agree. I was a bit worried about Gomez but I think the lad has a bit about him. could well turn out a real spot for 3.5mil.

Btw Can looked great when came on. Needs to start in a midfield 3. Not a fan of the double pivot. We played much better with more control in midfield in the 2nd.

Firmino needs to get fit asap or he might not be able to displace Ibe out of the team.

Great to get a late winner like that in a dull 0-0 game.

A lot to improve, though. We lack the movement and quickness of play to play this narrow. I'm a little worried about the lack of natural wingers in the team now. We need to either be able to play faster in this system or change some things.

Anyway, three points, feels fine, can't wait for next weekend now Thumbs up

I think we need to adjust our style and get Bently more involved. He does work/move and if we gave him the ball more, he would have worked the defense more. Lallana was disappointing Sad

All 4 of our defenders played well I thought. Some moments of shakiness from the 18 year old but Stoke were targetting him bright as day but he did well otherwise. Also some positioning issues with Lovren leaving too much space between himself and the LB but clean sheet is a clean sheet and all due full credit to them for that. Clyne was the best of the bunch I thought. Didn't put a foot wrong.

I'd hate for us to lose any of the 3. I think Rodgers is pushing Sakho out of Liverpool. How can he not even make the bench ahead of Kolo is beyond me.
