Premier League 2015/16 Fixtures
The fixtures for next season will be published at 9:00 (UK time) tomorrow. The new season starts early this year on the 8th of August due to the Euros next summer, and the Community Shield is on the 2nd of August, so there's only 6-7 weeks left until it starts all over again.
Predictions for the first game? I'm going for an away game to one of the big teams.
I also reckon we'll get at least one death run, since we didn't have one last season.

I digs it.
Start the season strongly and our final 9 games can see us go on a run.

No death runs
Pretty much spaced out like last season.
We need a good start this time. Definitely need to take at least 13 pts out of the first 5 games before we face Chelsea away.

Good. Very evenly spread. Not even two big league games in a row.
Most importantly, April, when you'll be playing the CL semifinals, is very easy.
Expecting great things.

Nice, spread out nicely. We don't have a do or die month this time, maybe January but that assumes Newcaslte fortune changed under new manager.

Re: Premier League 2015/16 Fixtures
January stands out as the most difficult month. Liverpool away on a Tuesday night, then a lovely trip to a cold and wet Stoke the following weekend, before welcoming Chelsea to the Emirates the following week. Let's hope the FA Cup draw is kind to us again next season.
October looks tricky. Home games against United and Everton, which are never easy, Watford away a potential banana skin and Swansea away, which isn't one of our favorite fixtures. The end of Feb and most of March as well could be tough.
I think as far as a potential title challenge goes, if we get through Jan-March still in touch with the league leaders, we'll have a good shot since our run-in looks kind - the obvious exception being City away, of course.
I actually expect maximum points from our first five games, even with Alexis potentially missing most of them.

On poor form, even the simplest series of games can become a death run. Liverpool can confirm.

Re: Premier League 2015/16 Fixtures
Five of our first six games have been moved due to TV coverage:
West Ham (H) is now a Sunday (Aug 9) 13:30 KO, which blows because now we start our season a day later than everyone else.
Palace (A) is also a Sunday (Aug 16) 13:30 KO.
Liverpool (H) will be our first Monday night game on Aug 24.
Newcastle (A) is now an early Saturday kick off (because we love those) on Aug 29.
Chelsea (A) will also be a 12:45 Saturday game (because that went really well last time) on Sep 19.
