This season has had a ridiculously good start!

I have to say, I'm glad I went with Sansa for my avatar this season. Loved every scene of hers but especially when she was pushing Jon to get his shit together and go home. Bastardbowl is *bleep* on. The Starks need more than the wildlings if they hope to win. Tormund eyeing Brienne was probably the best thing I've seen this season, he couldn't have found a finer woman for his taste and it was probably the first time someone gave Brienne such interest, I hope she appreciates that.

It looks like Tyrells/Lannisters finally found common ground to deal with the High Sparrow, I'm just wondering what happens with Margaery once they storm the sept. Loras is going to die for sure, and it might even be for the best. It looked like he got a different kind of 'treatment' compared to Cersei and Margaery.

I watched the episode twice and I still don't understand why they bothered to bring back Osha only to kill her in her next scene. An offscreen death mentioned by Smalljon Umber would've served fine, especially considering that he hates wildlings. UNLESS she was part of a conspiracy, to kill Ramsay and cement Rickon's place in Winterfell. But I loved the letter he sent Jon Snow, "Winterfell is mine, bastard-- come and see".

Was never a fan of Daario but this was a good episode for him. "I should've been born a Dothraki"

And I must say, well done to the showrunners in the last scene. Everyone was expecting Drogon to show up out of no where but Dany did what she needed to do without Drogon. Dothraki follow strength and that's exactly what she showed. She has truly embraced her family words now "Fire and Blood". You have the Dothraki now get your ass out of Essos girl. Oh and bewbs. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡° )

The Dothraki scene felt extremely unnatural to me. Dothraki bow to strength, but being unharmed by fire is something I'd strongly associate with witchcraft, not strength. And the Dothraki despise witches.. to me it didn't make sense that they bowed to her.

Dothraki witnessed witchcraft when Dany "birthed" the dragons. They bowed all the same.

Clearly they respect Dany killing the Khals and be the last standing more than they fear witchcraft.

Big difference there though. When Drogo fell ill, Pono left the Khalasar and took the Dothraki with him. Only a small group of mostly old and weak (iirc) Dothraki stayed with Dany. Obviously they were extremely loyal to her.. they also witnessed more than her being unburned, they witnessed the birth of dragons. Something that probably gave an otherwise lost Khalasar a sudden chance to survive.

GOAT episode, not a single scene was wasted. They actually managed to make the Meereen scenes good, that's an achievement in itself.

So essentially the dosh Khaleen are like priests of a church or a temple. They are respected and revered even by the uber alpha khalasaars.
So may be thats why when they see someone who is part of that group, walk out of their temple(again thats a place associated with their religious beliefs and customs and not anything like a shady abode of a witch ) in such a fashion, unharmed by the flames and everything, they almost mechanically would have thought it is an entity that is to be respected more than anything. So i suppose theres a difference between this scene and the scene in s01.

Daenerys can't be a witch anyway. Every self-respecting witch burns in a fire so that her soul may be cleansed (works with maegi, too). Try that with her!

BTW, as she incinerated the complete collection of khals (and as I assume all of their main bloodriders, too), this would have left the khalasar completely leaderless, so it should be expected that the foot-folk would bow to whoever shows up with considerable strength to lead them. Oh, and by the way her hair is longer than that of the khals, too.

Moreover, they know she's the Mother of Dragons (and bla and bla and bla...) - so if she can blow up all of the big boys without even a dragon close by, I bet the khalasar thought "Umm, think what she can do when she calls her pets to heel!"  and they considered it was the wisest choice to bow to her. ^^
