Re: GAME OF THRONES - PART 6 - *NO BOOK TALK - READ THE RULES*
Great episode. Think everyone summed it up well, but why all the surprise at Tommen drinking the koolaid?
The kid was born to be controlled. He was never going to have free will. If not for the HS, Margaery would be the one with his strings and without her it would be Cersei. Not surprised at all that HS took him to Jonestown.
Super intrigued by why Ned lied about how Arthur Dayne went out (like a boss btw). The look of confusion and then faint disgust from Bran was great. Really interested to see what else he learns. Best arc of the show already.

Yea Bran's arc is easily the best so far along with Jon's.

Does this show have the best soundtrack for a tv show ever?

Like Mr Robot's OST more imo
Not a hit on GoT's OST, both are great
Surprised no one analyzed this piece, seems like it has theory potential

Personally, I prefer the Doctor Who Soundtrack, even though GoT of course isn't bad either ^^RealGunner wrote:Does this show have the best soundtrack for a tv show ever?

Re: GAME OF THRONES - PART 6 - *NO BOOK TALK - READ THE RULES*
The soundtrack in GoT is CONSISTENTLY great.
My favourite is the one at the end of S4, when Arya is on her way to Braavos (It's called The Children). Dany/Drogon also has some absolutely badass soundtrack. I loved Stannis's/Lord of Light theme too.
Reading the books with the Stark theme on my headphones, makes the experience like 2x times better.

You think we'll see Jon, Bran, Reekon & Arya reunited?
Can see Jon, Sansa & Reekon this season. Bran probably won't leave till last episode.
Arya might head back in the last episode maybe

Going by history, Jon and Sansa will miss each other by a whisker, Rickon will be dead by season's end and Arya will be in Asshai or something.

Re: GAME OF THRONES - PART 6 - *NO BOOK TALK - READ THE RULES*
Ned Stark hated Jaimie a lot for backstabbing Mad King right ? He didnt consider JL an honorable man for that.
Ned has been instead the epitome of honor and everything and here we have Howland Reed doing the same thing on Dayne to save Ned's life. His very existence thereafter is because of Reed backstabbing a certain someone who was about to kill him.
And yet Ned couldnt relate to what Jaimie did, despised him for it on and top of that lied to everyone the true manner in which Arthur Dayne died.
Dont know about anyone else but I am suddenly starting to find too many holes in Eddard Stark's character. Something going on very fishy there which I hope the writers WILL address.

I am not so sure. I still think Ned is a man of honour. If he was to be blamed, it would be to hide the truth. But I am sure there was a reason why he didn't correct people when they said he killed Dayne.

Re: GAME OF THRONES - PART 6 - *NO BOOK TALK - READ THE RULES*
Well Jaime backstabbed the king he was sworn to protect. Also Jaime never told anyone (bar Brienne) why he did it.. so for Ned it just looked like Jaime broke an oath to save himself. Big difference to backstabbing someone to save a friends life.

Don't really think it was dishonorable. It wasn't a duel, it was a brawl and Dayne turned his back on an alive rival.
