Hendo can definitely be a contributor on a CL and league winning dominant club. But not as a starter. As a role player yes. Players like Milner and Hendo are necessities almost to have as part of the squad over a long grueling season but I think the starting XI players should be comfortably better.

Well if you have Woy Hodgson or Carver as your manager then I can understand. But as frustrating as Brendan is, it doesn't come nearly to that level.

Again, I thought I was being quite civil. I'm not insulting or mad I'm legitimately kidding around with him. I don't hold grudges or even have anything against the guy. He has his opinions and he sticks to them -- like many here he gets a bit overzealous sometimes but I don't really see much harm in most of what he's doing.

That was until Firmino signed. I even said before summer began that if we signed at least ONE quality player I'll be happy. And we have done so. He gives me hope. Signings like that should make all Pool fans feel excited. If Rodgers won the CL you'd still find reasons to shit on him mate.

I wonder if Firmino was our CF signing, if he was, we have pretty much signed all players we were saying we needed to sign: right-back, back-up goalkeeper, midfielder, center-forward. Time to call it a day on this window, as far as incoming players go? hmm

Nah, pretty sure you'll get a striker, Firmino is the Sterling replacement.

I don't know man, I feel there's two (a CF/ST and a CM) more signings left. If Kovacic is off then the Illarramendi or Hernandez rumors holds some truth. But I'm not keen on either. I'm hoping we sign a really good striker and start preparing for the season.

Frankly, I would also love (and hoped) to wrap-up major signings within June so we have a whole month to prepare.
