If Madrid can win CL with this football then anything can happen next season. Too much surprises its hard to predict. it mostly depends on who you will face in knockout stages

Agreed. Madrid winning this year is a bigger Cinderella story than Leicester imo. Who would have thought?

It's hard to say, though I wouldn't rule them out either. I think we'll have a better idea come January about the favorites for 2017's CL.
One thing for sure though; and even though it's too early, I think it's safe to say that Guardiola's City blows Pellegrini's out of the water in pretty much everything.

I had an epiphany that this will finally be THE year we get to see an El Clasico in the Champions League final
The enclosure of the final chapter in the storied rivalry between Ronaldo and Messi
I just can't see anyone else winning it tbh other than these two teams. Actually I have my doubts over next season as well.

The world deserves it, at least just one of them.
With Messi taking the honours and people finally shutting up to who is the GOAT.

If juve is smart we can go all the way next season even if we lose dybala or AS. but we haveto actually be smart and invest the money back in the squad.
There are so many options for us to improve, get can on a free bring in someone like cabellos, kovacic, fabinho etc. plus the young players coming back we own. we are stacked in attack next season with pjaca coming back and cuardrado from injury we can afford to get rid of 1-2 attackers and use that money.
we could literally upgrade the squad well pretty much spending next 0 dollars

At this point, where there's half a dozen clubs that try to improve their squads every single Summer, unless the powers that be have a sudden change in heart then chances are we blew the only chances we had of winning another CL in the foreseeable future.
We ruin one area of the pitch to improve another, it's not sustainable and finally we see how this policy has literally raped our midfield. There's only so many freebies and £30,000,000 and under gems out there. And with the transfer record getting smashed every 10 minutes they're less and less.
Sadly when Chiellini is done (Barzagli and Buffon are almost there now) the spine holding this team at a World Class level will be gone and there probably isn't bargain basement price players out there to fill their void.
Our best hope if a golden generation of Italian players comes along, most of which would see Juve as the end goal in their careers.

They can only stop each other from winning it
Nobody else is winning it until Cristiano and Messi retire

Think they’ll be stopped this season. Semis will be Barca-City & Bayern-RM with City-Bayern ending up as the final
I’ve dreamt it

Stage is set for a Clasico final unless Barca fail at the last hurdle. No Jjive/Atleti this time round so they should comfortably reach the final. Our path will be alot harder and only the kommander will decide if we ho through

City are too inexperienced, I wouldn't be surprised if Liverpool knock them out but obviously they won't beat Barca or Madrid) so that only leaves Bayern realistically and they probably won't do it either.

Honestly lads.
Let's just get ourselves a Clasico final, because then we'll see how much exactly Messi has it in him, if he will be able to beat Ronaldo's Madrid and stop them from winning a 3rd straight CL.
It's quite a big deal, and their era deserves a CL final between them.

We already had a semi final and we beat them
But I agree that Barca should meet RM during this campaign because only we can beat them
if they avoid us, they'll win a third in a row ffs

Re: Will we have a CL winner outside of Real Madrid or Barca in the near future ?
I want Barca in a final tbh. Gonna be so satisfying seeing Messi cry and Pique take an early bath. And nothing like a Clasico final for the Kommander to announce himself as the best player ever to play the game. Hopefully the guy doing the Semi draw (if we go through) pits us against City if they can get past Liverpool, I mean breaking the Jjuve curse, sending Pep packing and beating FC Messi will be the epitome of knockdowns, only the kommander can dish out

Everybody ruling out Liverpool should be ashamed tbh
It's obvious if we get past City, we're winning it. As Messi and Ronaldo start to wind down over the next 4 seasons the Liverpool era will be laying down the foundations of a decade of domestic and European dominance.

If Brazil win the World Cup then huge chance Nerman takes it.
But since Argentina has it on lock, Messi to get his 6th guaranteed.

El Classico CL final, make it happen, its the best time in the history of this sport, Messi vs Ronaldo, with everyone seemingly now thinking Ronaldo is the better player due to the bicycle kick, lol! The world just need to be shown once and for all that Messi > Ronaldo. Having said that, Real probably has the better team overall, but still, would definitely love it and Barca can beat them, worth the risk

And Madrid beat Barca in the semis before that one (2002 CL campaign). Finished the exact aggregate scoreline too. Madrid won 2-0 in the Camp Nou and tied 1-1 in Madrid
In 2011, Barcelona won 2-0 at the Bernabeu and drew 1-1 in the Camp Nou.

Lol the debate will never be settled, people have made the stance in either direction and won't change it.
