I would much rather have loved to see seedorf leave instead of pirlo but losing pirlo wasn't that big of a mistake considering his demands didn't tally with the club's new wage plans.

Imo, the biggest mistake would be not replacing pirlo with a player of a bit similar attributes

Pirlo is a good player, he is just losing his legs. He doesn't have the legs to play every game all season.
