juve get outplayed for 80 mins, lets applaud them as the second best team in europe yeah right
u must be the most butthurt Madrid fan alive, Juve won a double this season which you can disrespect fine, but to top it up we beat u over 2 legs but the clown you are still thinks Madrid is better than Juve this season, going by your logic, Juve is better than Barca this season cos we can call a rematch and beat Barca but we both know it won't happen, beating one in one game is good, but over 2 legs in a semi final
and stop hopping around and typing jazz, where exactly did I say Juve were superior to Barca? Just cos you and a few Madrid fans were basically predicting and celebrating a all Spanish final before you had played Juve and I called you out for it doesn't mean you should run around and make up stories about me....
and its posters like you that makes many people dislike Madrid as a team, even in defeat you are still riding a high Roach
stay mad and butthurt for all I care...

Re: CL Final: Juventus Vs Barcelona
It's kind of funny that Juve's downfall was their best period in the match: they had made it 1 - 1 moments earlier and were pushing forward and creating some consistent attacks. But that resulted in a counter-attack chance for Barcelona, which they took. Maybe Juventus got too brave there, they were containing Barcelona's slow attacks pretty well, but got punished for pushing too many men up field.

shit understanding? lmao watching carlo make every mistake possible for the team to lose, and stilling winning the tie with 20 mins to go
then pretend that juve>, screw that politically correct nonsense, getting played off the pitch is applaud worthy stuff now
They weren't played off the field at all. The penalty on Pogba gets justly called and the game could end differently. Sorry, but you are out of line.
open your eyes and have a look at the incident again. it's not a pen. it's more a foul against Pogba if anything.

Re: CL Final: Juventus Vs Barcelona
It is incredible that the biggest Juve trolls and talking BS about Juve and how they didn't deserve to be in the finals or that we got schooled the whole game are MADRID fans. LOL. the biggest losers of this season. Did a 22 winning game run for nothing. Had the best manager for nothing. Had the best player in the world (because a player with two trebles CLEARLY surpassed the diva who thought he was the best) for nothing. Paid 100 mil for a british player (looool) for nothing. No consistency, no development, no security and Benitez. That's what RM is about.
Juventus DESERVED to be in the CL. They got there because of their FUTBOL, PERIOD. We won Borussia, Monaco and RM, fair and square. If another team deserved to be in the finals, they should've been able to beat the best and 2nd best european team in 2014-2015, but nobody could (its not a debate, its a fact).
Specifically about this game (because im not even gonna touch old news about RM's game, which WE dominated in 2 games, no debate on that), we played VERY good. The match was defined by that early goal, but juventus defended good, attacked very good and have clear chances to hurt Barcelona. Juventus were in control for about some good 30 minutes until that 2nd goal. And imagine, of course Juve had to throw everyman to the front in the last second of the game, we had to take the risk.
Juve lost but i am proud of my boys. Ppl thought Barca was gonna rape us but we can leave with our heads held high.
I read a stupid comment from a stupid poster saying how RM's game was defined by an average Bale, well this game was defined by an excellent Messi and Suarez (also to that Pogba penalty, but its not an excuse, we lost).
RM fans, u still butthurt? Oh and before i forget, ONLU 1 YEAR FOR JUVENTUS TO WIN THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE! looooool

Re: CL Final: Juventus Vs Barcelona
How's this thread about Bale and Madrid? Come on now. Also congrats to juve for playing a great game and showing fighting spirit after the equaliser.the ref discussion I don't want to dwell on it but he could give calls to both teams that he didn't (cards, disallowed goals, handballs etc). I don't think he played a part in deciding the game. Congrats to Barca for the 5 th. I just wish we could be active in the transfer window this summer. We could build on the momentum

Ignore Chad, only he believes Juve didn't deserve to reach the final, i'm sure other Madrid fans don't think the same way as him so please don't generalize us.

And how does it refer to the point?
The point was that we've beaten the English champions and we did. The BPL season wasn't over yet so Man City were still champions.

Re: CL Final: Juventus Vs Barcelona
Really heartbroken.
But this result was expected.
I still can be proud of the team's performance. We had them in control around the 50th-60th min mark and if we had some luck going our way for instance the penalty call on Pogba,i think it could've been different game. When you are up against a team as stacked as Barcelona, you need that little bit of luck but unfortunately not to be and deservedly lost to a much better team.
Champions League in recent years has shown that money power and experience is what will win you the title. All the previous years from the last 7-8 seasons are incidently the ones that spend the most money and that make the most revenue.
Anomalies like Liverpool and Porto dont exist anymore in my opinion and FFP has also been a big catalyst in strengthening the position of the big clubs.
Oh well.Anyway it would be an interesting summer to look forward to.If you go by Marottas's words, our best players are definitely staying and we'll not fade away like Dortmund. For a team like Juventus, the best way to close the gap is probably strengthen the areas which we're already strong at,i.e is the midfield and defense.Juventus is a proper Italian team and we should continue to play the Italian way with some minor adjustments.Rather than getting on with the trends i.e abusing your team with 100 fancy attackers ,we should be the ones to buck the trend.
Italian football is in its worst situation and has managed to produce a finalist.Hopefully this can be a kickstart to the resurgence of Juventus and Serie A in general.

Re: CL Final: Juventus Vs Barcelona
Juve made Serie A proud. To be in the final in the first place was a huge accomplishment.
As for the game itself, Juve were clearly a little overawed by the spectacle in that first half as we saw with Rakitic's goal. As they've so often done, they collected themselves and steadily rebuilt that head of steam that lead to Morata's equalizer. Barca's counter looked dangerous all game though so while I'm not surprised Juve got caught out on it, but I felt that with better defending, it didn't have to happen. Barzagli made so many last ditch challenges to keep Barca at bay. I really wished Chiellini was there as well. The 3rd goal was undoubtedly down to Juve throwing everything forward to get the equalizer again so that was just an unfortunate consequence of that.
From a player perspective, I was very disappointed with Vidal. Needed to keep his head and instead he lost it several times. Lucky to still be on the pitch honestly. This impacted Pirlo who was exposed to being hassled and harried by Busquets at every touch of the ball. This is what really disrupted Juve's game overall. Pogba did what he needed to do. Marchisio was probably the best player on the Juve side along with Barzagli and Buffon. I honestly believe Evra did reasonably well against Messi as he made several great challenges on him to try and nullify his impact on the game. Didn't always work obviously.
Obviously the penalty that wasn't given would've changed the game, but I'm not sure it would've been enough for Juve as they never really looked like the grabbing the lead.

Can't agree with that Surag, fancy attackers is why you lost lol.
Juve lack imagination and pace, for them to be a consistent threat for years to come they desperately need to add some to go along with their defence and midfield.
If you don't and just do what you want them to do you'll always fall short.

Well Mole, we achieved finals with this team. With a little bit more luck or just 1 more WC striker........We beat RM which were the reigning CL champions (just using GL logic)

Juve need wingers. Having the midfielders spread so wide to contain Messi and Neymar totally takes away from their other midfield duties. Pogba was playing something between LW, LB and LM most of the game.

Re: CL Final: Juventus Vs Barcelona
That is true Mole.
But you misunderstood me.
We know Juve lack the finances to buy big money attacking players but in the meantime, lets just strengthen the already strong areas. There are some weaknesses in defense right now and lets just strengthen it.I want us to retain our solid organization with a compact defense and midfield. And since some our ageing, they need to be replaced first.
If you gave me choice with selling Pogba and buying attackers with the money or retaining him,i'll always choose the latter.
Besides work has been done in improving the attacking department.Hopefully Dybala explodes for us and maybe Berardi can return and make an impact too.
I hope you get what i'm saying.

It's not just Americans. A lot of "Serie A fans" are doing this too.
Wonder if La Liga fans are supporting Barca.
Just abroad Italy imo . I watched the match yesterday with other not Juve fans ( Inter, Milan, Roma ) and all of us supported intensely Barca

Talk to Robespierre. Actual Italians living in Italy not Juve fans are all wearing their Barca jerseys. At least their direct rivals are.
Exactly, I've read just now

I'm aware of that but I'm talking about being a consistent elite team which gets to the semis consistently like Madrid, Bayern and Barca do. For that to happen Juve needs more imagination and pace.
I'm intrigued to see what you do tbh, I heard of Dybala but not really seen him so I won't comment.
Also Surag I did and that's fair enough.
