Arsenal Vs Everton
Sunday 1st March: 14:05 BST
Emirates Stadium
House of Arse
I really can't think of anything to say atm. I wanted to rant, but can't. I wanted to say something hopeful, but can't. It's a weird feeling. Like being stabbed in the back and you don't know what to do. The match against Monaco was one of the worst in our history. It was bad on every level. But the worst thing about that match was how terrible the fans were treated. I don't often say this, but those players are there because we support them and they have a sense of duty to fulfil the fans' need. What they put on against Monaco was awful. It was a crime. I don't know how else to put it. We have been supporting this club for years. And it wasn't even the first time we have suffered something like this. But that's exactly the point. I can name 5 matches from this season alone where we can question the club's motive on how exactly do they plan on taking us forward when we keep getting setbacks like Wednesday night? 5 game winning streak isn't going to take us forward. 5 game winning streak where it actually counts will.
I think the morale against Everton will be poor. I can't see us get off and actually reply with something positive. The team will probably put on a pathetic showing and salvage a draw or a narrow win. Or obviously lose when Everton show us more heart despite being in terrible form themselves.
But here is a fool hoping Arsenal surprise all of us and apologise to the fans in a way we all want them to.

Re: Arsenal Vs Everton
Arsenal is Sisyphus, whenever the team pushed that boulder up top, it rolls right back down. And we as a fan is Prometheus, we got our liver chewed up every night by eagle of disappointment, to wake up rejuvenated with excitement, hope just to get chewed again.
Greek myth aside, Arsenal usually takes 3 to 4 weeks to get out of their sulky phase after big defeat so I have no hope whatsoever against Everton or MU.

I am Jack's depleted hope as well.
Watch as we make Everton look like Bayern Munich while they've been looking like Barnet this whole season.

I am going to go against my better instincts and say that we will show up and put things right.
Oh wait, it's not April 1 yet.

Wenger has an excuse if we lose tomorrow.
@wengerknowsbest
Why do we keep having so many accidental defeats? I don't know. I cannot quite mental strength put my finger on it.

A draw would be nice, guys, Everton would stay down in 14th place and you wouldn't be running away from us. Thanks.
