I dont want to be cynical or anything but this league is still competitive despite the top 2 getting most of the money. You cant say the same about Bundesliga or Serie A. Also the fact that they get less money hasn't seemed to hamper them in Europe. The problem in Spain is money, the more they get the more careless they'll become

I think the reff not only are incompetent but are scared of certain players while hate some others. For example Xabi could commit murder on the pitch and he wouldn't get a red card, however Ramos could be red carded for touching a player. I think it depends. Arda Turan only got 1/2 games suspension for throwing a boot at the lines man imagine if that was Pepe
