I was going to type similar thing. Ever wondered why Perez is the president in the first place? Because he is the refection of the average Madrid fan. You will only find this blow up the team mentality in Madrid fans.. They deserves Perez. He completes them.

looool.

And that's why Raiola is talking to Madrid reps every other day, if not every day. He's trying to get United in the game so he pushes the price that Madrid pays up. Actually doing Juve a solid here. His fee and Pogba's wages are completely separate issues. With the Brexit, United can't really compete with Madrid in regards to wages now because Pogba's tax rate will go up by 20% in 2 years if he were to sign in EPL.... so Man U would have to increase his wages by 20% over what Madrid is offering after 2 years.

Lol if Perez is going to buy a player for record fees he will drum it up in advance like he did with Bale, he has basically ruled it out in his previous interview. Pogba wont come, thank God for that

It's all speculation though. Pogba isn't deciding anything until after the Euro, not even if a club offers 1 billion dollars. His focus is completely with France and I think reporters are preying on this.

As for his agent, that's his job. Of course he's going to take meetings, of course he is going to try to get the best deal for his client (and himself), it doesn't mean anything if Pogba doesn't want to move and/or Juventus does not want to sell.

With no release clause either, it doesn't matter if Mino is meeting with the Pope himself.

I actually hope Pogba leaves just so we can stop talking about it. The topic is boring, and it will not end until he actually does leave.

Then I will watch Real Madrid games to see how everyone remains divided on his transfer with pride

I agree that the topic is becoming very boring. No offense but for a top team Juve are awful at holding on to their best players. Last summer it was Vidal + Pogba, now it is Pogba. Next season it's going to be another player

tbh rumours talk always about  interest for him from some clubs ( I believe Raiola is working much to search the best offer for him .. Raiola is clearly the real engine.. Agents earn with the transfers) But Juve isn't interested to sell him
And infact when you read " you need of 100 - 120 mln " Laughing , it is equivalent to " he is unsellable" . If this is   the condition , I doubt there is some insane to accept it. ( and if there is, the insane 'd be the Juve to not accept.)

Yes and you could say the same with Neymar where papers are speculating he could head elsewhere. Honestly whats the difference ? With big players, you'll always have rumors floating around. Add to that, Juventus dont generate income like Barca, Madrid or EPL clubs, it gives a bigger reason to continously speculate and spread as many rumors as you can. Calling a team 'awful' at holding its best players based on what you read in the paper is foolish to say the least. Agents do their job especially agents like Raiola who always looks to move his players so he could get a fat comission and likewise papers are there to speculate.

Neymar wants a new contract and has an enormous buy out clause anyways. That's what top teams or at least the spanish ones do to their players, they put huge buy out clauses that no sane team will trigger. As far as Juve goes every summer one of their top players is rumoured to leave and Vidal left as soon as Bayern came calling so it is not totally useless rumours. I just think Juve need to do more to keep their star players. I understand that maybe they dont have the financial clout other top teams have but that hasnt stopped other teams holding on to their star players case in point Griezmann and Atletico. Nobody can afford him now after he signed his contract

Vidal left because we wanted to sell him. He had his worst season in a Juve shirt before he left and also faced disciplinary issues being fined heavily by the board for late night partying. The car crash in his native Chile where he could've almost killed his family just did it for us. Its a matter of principle and Juventus have a strong code of ethics in regards to their players. Stop suggesting like we lost our best player or something. Vidal was being linked to elite clubs every year before we sold him last year. He had several inquiries every year which we rejected .

Nobody can afford Griezmann? He actually became much easier to afford because he has a release clause. You don't have to sit down and negotiate with the club which is a way harder process.

Again you can just choose to believe what you read which most of it is BS.

The man has even the 20 % on Pogba's selling Laughing
Basically if Juve sell him for 100 mln , Raiola cashes in 20 mln

Exactly. The idea that Juventus is incompetent at retaining players (and that this is somehow a unique feature to Juventus) is almost laughable. You're effectively mocking Juventus for not being one of 3 or 4 of today's, modern, super-clubs. Every club beside Real, Barca, and Bayern will experience similar "poaching" of their mercurial talents should  they attract enough interest. In a strange way, it's a compliment to how Juventus have been run over the past 4-5 years: buying young, promising players; seeing them have success; and ultimately seeing them attract interest from top clubs. It should not be seen as a slight against Juventus that they don't have the bottomless pit of financial resources, and subsequent competitive advantage, of the 3 aforementioned clubs. It should be seen as a compliment that they are consistently competing with those clubs on the pitch and consistently recruiting young talent to restock their squad when those clubs come calling for their established stars.

Juve has been incompetent at keeping its foreign top players... no problem with the Italian players since they all dream of playing in Serie A.

It's not just a Juve problem though. It's a Serie A problem. It's about paying market wages and nothing else. When you can't, players will leave.

But give Juve credit for developing elite players that demand those top market wages.

I would still take umbrage with the term "incompetent", though.

Using that term implies that the club failed to take the necessary measures to keep them. My point is that for the vast majority of clubs, there's nothing that can be done to keep these mercurial talents when Madrid, Barca, or Bayern come calling. At that point, the game becomes keeping them for as long as possible and selling for maximum profit.

I also don't think it's limited to Serie A, at all. I think you can see the same thing happening, regardless of the league. Granted, other leagues (specifically the PL) have a leg up with the wages that can be offered to players. Therefore, the effect may be magnified in Serie A. However, at some point, these super-clubs can blow away any offer made to the players by their current club. The only thing that can help in resisting the allure of pay-check and competitive level are the ties to either home-nation or home-club.

yeah it has more to do with the league than juve. top players these days aren't attracted to a move to italy as they once were. and even if some were attracted to it, the issue of transfer fees and wages makes the italian clubs not attracted to those players. i don't think i'll call it incompetence on juve's part, juventus understand the situation, and are happy to sell for a good price. its not like they're doing everything to force players to stay, they understand the reality of the market, and know with all these offers, it might be better off to sell, make some good money, instead of renegotiating new terms with players that will see you spend more on wages with little moneys you have compared to some of these other sides. i'd say they've handled business wisely

let's not forget they got pirlo on a free, when milan thought he was done. with the resources they have, the fact they were playing serie b football about 6 years ago, and the present issues with the league, i'd say they've done very well for themselves
