Re: Liverpool vs. Bolton
Coutinho looks injured. He's moving gingerly. As if he knows somethign is wrong with his thigh so he's not to over do it.
But we HAVE to win this ffs. ALL BIG CLUBS ARE OUT. We will have such an good ride if we take care of this game ffs. PLEASE.

Re: Liverpool vs. Bolton
Coutinho needs to come out, Borini IN and Sterling with Lallana
...Sterling is having little oFF game except his runs. We are playing good football but need to finish one of them when the ball is in the box with a liverpool player.

Pretty jittery half with all our players making bad decisions in the final-third. But we look like scoring and I hope we take the next chance we get.

Re: Liverpool vs. Bolton
Well, at least we didn't lose and Sturridge will be available for the return leg.
God I cannot wait until we finally have a striker who can *bleep* score goals.

*bleep* sakes man, not even one of our attacking players looked like they could find the back of the net, just adding an extra fixture in a busy and important period for us, really shitty game not to win.

Frankly, we didn't play badly. We lacked penetration.

Re: Liverpool vs. Bolton
Missed the first 30 minutes, but we were clearly the dominant side, just frustrating to not be able to score. Bogdan had to make a few great saves, but we should have made that level of domination count with a goal or two.
Someone should tell Sterling that's it's okay to pass the ball even if you're in the box with it. And not just in the box, his first action is always to try and dribble a little or just keep the ball at his feet. Should do more first-time passing and play more passes in and around the box as well. Holds on to the ball too much sometimes.
It's on the 4th. And it's a good thing we didn't lose on a day of upsets, but we really could have done without a replay. Especially an away one, where it's going to be all the more difficult.
Assuming we beat Bolton in the replay, counting from the Aston Villa game that was on 17 January, we are on a run that has 14 games in 47 days, that's a game every 80 hours, ending on 4 March against Burnley. Midweek & weekend games all the way up to there.
And that run has:
3 games against direct top-4 rivals.
5 knock-out round cup games.
The Merseyside derby.
Man City at home.
Burnley.
I'm feeling scared of the task ahead of us, although it could obviously turn out to be absolutely fantastic as well.

This was our problem last night. Not just Raheem, Lallana & Coutinho too kept the ball too long or shot from unlikely positions rather than passing to players at better/free positions.

Re: Liverpool vs. Bolton
Coutinho and Lallana usually have more purpose to their dribbling and ball-keeping. Sterling sometimes just stands with it or tries a dribble that looks half-hearted to begin with.

Re: Liverpool vs. Bolton
Sterling looked over confident because of that finish against Chelsea and he thought if he tries just half of what he normally does, he will score a goal the boy is still learning imo.
Anyways, we just f up our schedule even more with this game. The perspective given by Art of 14 games in 47 days, is *bleep* scary

Re: Liverpool vs. Bolton
Doesn't matter really. Only Henderson & Lucas will be stretched. Others are mostly deemed back-ups. True, those extra rest does make a difference.Anyways, we just f up our schedule even more with this game. The perspective given by Art of 14 games in 47 days, is *bleep* scary

Ifty, every game is important and all the players will be stretched.

Re: Liverpool vs. Bolton
Not that. I meant since Lucas & Henderson doesn't have any back-ups they will be extra pressed. Others have had some rotation already so they have had their 'rest'.HEIL MEIN REDS wrote:Ifty, every game is important and all the players will be stretched.
