Premier League Matchday 19 sees Chelsea travel to St. Mary's Stadium on the south coast of England to take on Southampton. The clash represents both the final Premier League match of the 2014 calender year as well as the final game in the first round of Premier League fixtures. As such, the Blues and the Saints will be the last remaining sides each has yet to face this term.

The Saints triumphed 3-1 over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park courtesy of goals from Sadio Mane, Chelsea loanee Ryan Bertrand, and Toby Alderweireld offset against Scott Dann's consolation for the hosts 4 minutes from time, while Chelsea put in a second superb and commanding performance on the spin against one of the League's putative tough-nuts as they defeated high-flying London rivals West Ham United at Stamford Bridge in the day's early kick-off via goals either side of the break from John Terry and Diego Costa.










The Blues record against their Sunday hosts since their promotion in 2012 has been mixed. 2 wins, a draw and a defeat make up the quartet, though José Mourinho and his men will take encouragement from the 2 wins coming in the 2 most recent meetings between the sides.









Anthony Taylor, who last officiated for Southampton in their 1-0 away win over Swansea City in May and for Chelsea in their 2-1 victory over Liverpool at Anfield in early November, has been appointed referee for Sunday's affair.

Worried about this game, Very congested fixtures could make us very tired. Let's hope we play as well as we did on Friday.

And it would just figure that they'd regain their form juat as our game against them approaches.

Hopefuly Mou plays Mikel, Schurrle, Zouma etc here so we can have a stronger XI v Spuds, I'm not counting on it though
