Did Basel had their starting keeper? I watched the goals, while all four shots were fantastic, I can't help thinking a better keeper could have saved one of those.

Tomas Vaclik is their starting keeper and he's not bad at all. I watched the first goal and that was simply a great FK, no chance for Vaclik whatsoever. I don't remember goals 2-4 as the Real vs Schalke match took precedence as it was way more entertaining.

Actually, you can blame the lack of having a decent GK. Basel Defense wern't actually bad. Porto just have alot of firepower in the Midfield which left Samuel & Schar susceptible to Porto's attack and yet the goals came from outside the box.

Shots from outside the box are unavoidable, imo. They're gonna happen if the CB's are impassable.

GK's still young tho. Defo room for improvement.

And yeah Herrera has become Lucho Gonzalez's heir. Cool
