Argh, same complaints I had last week. One win in our last 5 PL games. Van Gaal's stupidity is summed up by ADM and Rooney playing in each others preferred position.

Re: Manchester United 2014/2015 Premier League Season (+ CC & FA Cup)
we were incredibly lucky to be in this position with one fluke win after other. Van Gaal that is. He spent 150 m on players, the kind of big names there were in that starting list today and the kind of shit they were serving. Its unacceptable really. This is moyes united with di maria and shaw. Starting to really lose patience.

Re: Manchester United 2014/2015 Premier League Season (+ CC & FA Cup)
Can't remember the last time I actually enjoyed watching us play. we are such a dull, slow possesion stat paddling team. a team with a bunch of players scared to death of taking on their man.
Luck ran out, and we didn't have the paper covering crack bonus of being undefeated.
Only turned up the tempo once we went a goal down, but still it was all lump it forward to Fellaini to knock down like were frigging Stoke City. Is that a philosophy? We played Di Maria up front rather than Rooney, he plays 5 at the back despite having everyone fit. It's just awful week after week.
Top 4 is by no means guaranteed. Ars are breathing down our necks and Saints have leapfrogged us. Aint no telling what this defeat will do to us.
Remember the days when we used to blitzed teams with quick movement and tempo? That inevitabilty of us scoring in the last minutes to salvage wins or draws? Remember that?
Mata( despite missing some sitters) and Blind (who was fantastic) was our only good performers on the night.
Rooney was utter shit. And ADM was so wasteful.

Forget top 4 man. We dont deserve to be in top 4 as the things stand at the moment. Soton should be 3rd. That team and its backroom staff should be really idolized. If anyone deserve to finish after chelsea or city in this years league, its them. Then its down to a battle for the 4th between us, arsenal, pool ans spurs. with arsenal edging. Pool will hit form once sturridge return as well. We are in some shite and the old man is damn too stubborn (to accept his mistakes). Friggin ego is irritating.

Hate to be the bearer of more doom and gloom but....
...not a single shot on target in 90 mins. At OT.
Disgraceful. And it's an issue thats been evident to see for quite some time. We struggle really badly to create chances. And once our attacking play is nullified, we look hopeless.
Same issues as last season. But last season we looked unable to fix the problem, this season it's evident to see its the formation and playing players all over the place that is the problem. But LVG's stubborness is costing us.

Re: Manchester United 2014/2015 Premier League Season (+ CC & FA Cup)
QPR(a) on Saturday. Should be a good match-up to bounce back from after last Sunday's set back. 'Should' being the key word, but it won't be, as usual.
What I want to see
On paper we should be beating QPR comfortably.
But what I expect is LVG to continue being the stubborn ego-maniac that he is, stick with the 3-5-2, and we'll bore everyone to death and either scrape a 0-0, 1-1, or lose 1-0. And the meltdown on Twitter, FTD and United forums and blogs will commence and the knives sharpened towards LVG will get sharper.
What I want to see
- No 3-5-2 bs.
- players playing in their correct position. Rooney as a striker or a no.10 and Di Maria back as a LCM
- Herrera to start please
- Falcao starting
- Urgency from the first whistle. No boring tippy tappy between the defenders
- play the diamond formation
- a back four of Rafa, Smalling, Rojo and Shaw
- don't tamper with the subs ffs. Sub the right players off. Is that so much to ask?

Re: Manchester United 2014/2015 Premier League Season (+ CC & FA Cup)
United XI: De Gea, Jones, Smalling, Rojo, Valencia, Carrick, Mata, Blind, Rooney, Di Maria, Falcao.
United subs: Valdes, Evans, McNair, Januzaj, Herrera, Fellaini, Wilson
Looks like it's a 3-5-2 again. ffs. No Herrera ffs. Atleast Falcao starts.
Not gonna moan too much, no point anymore. Will reserve all that if we drop points today.
Just get a win Utd, please. Don't care how you do it, just get 3 points.
Arsenal play City tomorrow, so they're likely to drop points, and Saints play away to NewC, they could drop points too. Big opportunity here.

I don't want to watch, but I will. Not because I think we'll drop points, but because I think it will be so boring.

There's been a last minute change Evans starts, and Smalling is on the bench

Re: Manchester United 2014/2015 Premier League Season (+ CC & FA Cup)
Holland losing Strootman for the world cup and LVG stumbling on this 3-5-2 to compensate for his absence, then them making it to 3rd place at the WC is the worst thing that could have happened to us. It's what makes him think this system is tactical genius. When in fact, apart from their freak result v Spain, they were one of the most boring teams to watch in the tournament. Just like how we are so boring to watch.

I'm starting to think the man is either clueless or is going crazy seriously.
Expecting us to drop points today. QPR will be well up for it, and at their small compact ground, they are a different team to the one away from home. This just got more difficult than it should have now that Evans is starting instead of Smalling. Like wtf? Smalling is our best defender.
Are you sure it's not injury related?
This doesn't make sense.

I don't know if it's injury related, but Evans starting is face palm worthy enough. Especially when you could play Herrera or even Fellaini instead.

Re: Manchester United 2014/2015 Premier League Season (+ CC & FA Cup)
True. Austin and Zamora are going to bully him. aargh.
LVG could just play a cb pairing of Jones and Rojo. Have Val and Blind as full backs.
ffs it's not rocket science, yet he still persists with 3 cb against QPR. So stubborn it's unreal.

No Shaw and Rafael is quite a mystery as well. Rafa should be fine after the knock to his face 2 weeks ago (atleast play with a mask on) And Shaw posted on Instagram that he was travelling with the squad. Perhaps dropped?
I don't know anymore.

I don't want to as well, but LVG's ego and stubborness is doing him no favours. It's going to cost the team if he doesn't buck up his ideas and stop with these odd non-sensical tactics and line-ups.

worst thing that could happen is we beat QPR like 8-0 today and are stuck with 3 at the back forever

This 3 at the back is becoming increasingly annoying. What is van Gaal thinking? We can't counter, we can't do anything ffs
